I do not recall the publication but it was published right after he got back in shape after he was fat in Another 48 Hours... he absolutely identified himself as 5' 9" and whatever weight it was (I think 160 or 165, I don't remember). So If he self-identified ay 5'9" I would say that is probably the maximum possible height. p.s. to NCL below... who the hell wears a 30R as an adult (especially with a 33" waist)?! I've noticed that Eddie Murphy wears some sort of lifts. He is the height listed on this site & could quite possibly be 5'9" flat Rob!
His son from model wife Nicole Murphy(5'10") is 6'2" & anytime he takes pictures with Eddie he looks only a near 3" taller than his father. His daughter who is an aspiring model is a near 5'9" around 5'8.5"-5'8.75" & in heels Eddie looks only an inch shorter & sometimes the same.
