maybe 181cm 182cm could be closer for edward norton? there was not much difference between him and brad pitt either in fight club. overall i think norton could be a weak 6ft.

I would. Usually he never struggles to edge out 180cm guys. The lowest for this guy is 5ft11.5(182cm) i think. But with his build and posture he can pull off looking 6ft1 or close. I think the current height is reasonable.

I just saw Edward Norton. he attended a peace education summit in Newark NJ.(NJPAC). I was a security guard there and had to pad everyone entering the auditorium. I am 5'11 flat with my shoes maybe 5'11 1/2 and Edward was probably and inch shorter than me. He was wearing flat Kenneth Cole type shoes. Okay this might sound REALLY odd, but I just finished watching "Fight Club", and right at the end, when he and Helena are holding hand, I notice that they seem to be the same height (which appeared awkward, provided I was well aware of Helena's height (5'2'')). So I took a look at her footwear, and she didn't seem to have a remarkable footwear, so how is that explained? Just weird I mean, there are 25 cms of heihgt apart, that's just not logical. Cole, you could be quite right about Norton being a solid six feet, but the use
of height charts in movies is extremely arbitrary and subject to wild variations. I'm quite certain that a shorter actor like Tom Cruise would never allow an accurate reading if a movie being filmed required him to stand against a height chart - it would probably be lowered two or three inches in order to depict him as being around 5'10". I just carefully studied the scene in "Rounders" where Matt Damon picks him up
when he is released from prison - it's clear as Norton is being processed out that he's wearing those high-ankled leather shoes that look like short boots -
in a few shots the heels show as being quite ample. On smooth pavement in the parking lot they greet, hug and stand quite close to each other. Norton is just verly slightly taller than Damon, who I'm convinced is no taller than 5'10". Norton may be an honest six feet, but my guess is he's 5'11.5" As an actor it would be logical and fair to give him the half-inch. easily. pitt has monster lifts, although at 5ft11/strong 5ft10 he really doesn't need them. norton needs them even less, and he never wore them. he is visibly taller than Gere in 'Primal Fear'.
