From the beginning, I've said George was more than 5'11 and nobody believed me. Everybody was saying George was 180cm max while I was saying 182cm. But now, I'm happy that at last everybody agree with me. So, thanks Glenn for your pic that brings the truth!

i didnt even know he's that tall, i usually guessed 5'10ish.

either the ground is uneven or he's 6'0+

WOw looks BIG! He is at least 181 cm. 5'10 is without a doubt way to low for him.Always seemed like a rather tall guy. Amazing voice. One of the best singers of all time if you ask me.But all the toking and drugs took a toll on his looks if you ask me.

I know a guy at my gym who met him this past summer. He said George was taller than he expected and said he was a little taller than me. I am 5'10.5", so 5'11.5 seems correct and he looks a little more than that in his picture with Glenn.

I think George Michael is a fine looking man with the perfect most normal height for a guy like him. Speaking for myself, I'm a bit over 6'7 (2.01 m) and I sometimes envy his definitely smaller height then me. Judging his height though, there's no doubt he's 1.80.. I live in sweden where everyone is actually very tall today.. especially in my school where the average height for boys are between 1.85-1.95 cm.. I'm just a lucky chap for being over 2 metres :P

Maybe the spanish TV host thought that George was taller, like 6'1" (1m85) or something like that and he was surprised that George was not that tall. But I'm sure that George is about 5'11"1/2 (1m82). On "YouTube" site, you can see a duo George Michael/Paul Young. Paul Young is 1m91 and you will see that George is not so much shorter compared to him, proving that George is definitely over 1m80.

On this photo slightly on the right tilted, (in favour of Michael)you can see him with his 6'feet friend. In what kind of world are you guys living ? Where I live, he´s clearly above 5'10". Just look at his musicvideos "AS" or "Outside". When he was at "Wetten Dass..." last year, he was never 5'10" in comparison to Thomas Gottschalk. 5'11.5" minimum. There´s a picture of him, Paul McCartney (5'10"), Tom Jones (5'10") and others on Linda McCartney tribute concert. He was towering both. 5'10" for George Michael is simply not true.

[Editor Rob: I do agree that he has been underestimated and 5ft 11 is closer...his shoes I'm still not 100% sure of...]
