some ppl might see him as shorter than he really is cus he has a big head fo sho. everyone knows that a big head makes u look shorter, it makes ur shoulders proportionately low.

I apologize Mr. R but i must disagree with you on both accounts. I feel he is somewhere between 6`0-6`1, and i do not find Mad Men to be all that great. It is competent, but far too predictable at times.

I say Jon is barely 5-11. Madmen is set up to make him look taller than everyone else because of his character. (Best show on tv!)

In the first season of Sarah Silverman, episode 5 "Muffin Man" Jon Hamm guest stars as a handy man in the first 2 minutes. If Sarah is 5'6.5" there is not 6 inches between them. interesting

He is almost certainly 6 foot. I saw all the 5'11 claims around the net, but they never made sense. The fact is that the guy comfortably beats most people on the show, including Hendricks, Slattery and Kartheiser. Just a strong six foot guy.

I like the way Stephen puts it: "How a genuine 6 foot guy is supposed to look". Taller than most, but not a jolly green giant either. You'll never catch Hamm having a 'short moment'

Two players on SNL are 6'2'' and 6'1'' (Bill Hader and Jason Sudeikis, respectfully). Hamm, when he appeared on the show, was very similar in height to them. I would say a strong six feet even.

I think Hamm is one of those rare guys who is between 5'11'' and 6'0'' but lists himself as 5'11''. 5'11.5'' is his height in my opinion. There are just way too many listings of 5'11'' all over the place to ignore, and he looks that way in certain photos.

Rob you are right, I examined Hamm again and 5’11” is too low. Rob’s expertise prevails again! Hamm destroys Vincent Kartheiser, there’s up to a 3 inch difference between the two. Hamm also has 2 inches on 5’10” John Slattery. Hamm could be 6’0.5” but I’m more inclined to think he is 6’ on the dot.

184cm does seem too high. A few of his co-stars are taller than Hamm, however we don’t really know for certain their heights either. My guess is that he is 5’11”.

Dude this guy is not even a hair's length over 5'11". It's those suits in Mad Men that make him look taller than he really is. Anyway I don't know who gives a damn about his height in Mad Men given that he is taller than the average global male height at 5'7" and more importantly is an amazing guy so it shouldn't matter. aah but producers in Hollywood do have their way!
