he does look like a legit 6'1. there are some pics where he gives the illusion of being very close to affleck, less than an inch. even some where he looks taller. I'm perplexed.

He just doesn't strike me as an over 6"0 guy...furthermore he's listed as 180cm on plenty of websites probably dating back to before he made a name for himself on Mad Men.
183cm isn't impossible, but I'm yet to be convinced if he's actually 184cm.

Jon Hamm is probably between 178 and 180 cm tall. A while ago I saw a photo of me with him on my computer, from when i met him back in january, but i cant find it now. Anyhow - I am 184 cm tall, and on the picture i had to arch my back and bend my neck down quite a bit for me to be his height, and he stood straight as an arrow, wearing nike trackshoes, which probably adds a good 1.75".
Sorry i dont have the hard evidence, but he needs at least an inch downgrade... I would say that, whitout shoes, Jon Hamm is 5 foot 10.5 in - 179 cm. Baxter says on 4/Apr/11

For a long time I wasn't convinced about 184cm for Hamm, but now I realise that his build and relatively short torso can deceptively make him seem shorter than he actually is, especially in scenes where he is solo.
But if you gauge his height against his co-stars you can tell he is a tall guy, I'm fairly certain that this 184cm listing is accurate for him. |
