He looks tall but I though david hyde pierce was five foot eight. He doesn't look that tall. I thought he was 180cm but now i think 184cm is about right. In back to you he looks short next to 158cm patricia heaton. He only looks 178cm max in back to you which is weird.

On Frasier, which I watch often in reruns, he seems a sold six feet. I don't think he could be more than that. Next to 5'9'' David Hyde Pierce, he looks exactly three inches taller, nothing more.

Looked an inch shorter than 6'1.5"-6'2" Jackman in X-Men, so I guess that makes him 6'05" or even possibly 6'1", although generally I don't see Grammer as tall as 6'1", but more like a solid 6-footer.

I talked with Grammer while he was in Chicago filming a sitcom (April '11) and he's a solid 6'1" - I'm 6'2" (6'3" or so in regular dress shoes) and while I was very slightly taller, I only had an inch on him. Neither of us were wearing any sort of "funky" shoes.

Stood next to him in checkout line at Wholefoods, Columbus Circle on Sunday. Maybe 6'1" peak but now no more than 6' with a slouch. I'm 5'11.5" and thought I was taller at first but maybe if he stood straight ne'd have another half inch on me. Huge head, and long arms give the impression he is bigger.
