at begining of LOST i thought he is 6'1.5-6'2 , after i see him close to the guy josh holloway who say he was like 6'1 which mean he is like 184-185cm and fox does not look over 0.5" edge over josh holloway. which implied 6'1 for fox. seriously not over 186cm max. so let alone 6'2.

I dont know if americans measure height with shoes on.To me, Fox is prolly around 185cm bare-footed. Check it out on LOST where they walked on sand without shoes and he certainly looked 185

in premiere of vantage point he is an inch on forest whitaker who looks 6'1 in the premiere pictures with other co star. matthew fox look solid 6'2. also 6'1.5 listed william hurt is noticeable shorter than fox.

i myself am tall... i used to think and be fossy about height. now i know size does not matter that much! looks is very important,as for mr fox. he gets 2 thumbs up for both ht/looks! i wish him luck.

Josh Holloway is listed on most sites at 6ft1.5(187cm) and personally I think that is closer to the truth. 6ft2(188cm) is dead on for Fox.

Fox looks dead even with Terry O'Quinn, whom I believe to be about 6'2". I think Fox is one of the few who's honest about his height--he has no reason to be insecure about it; 6'2" is tall, to the point of prominently standing out in a crowd, in my opinion. 6'2" flat is correct for him.

6"2 flat is perfect for Fox...Whitaker looks like he could be a fraction over 6"2 if he stood properly because he was at least an inch taller than 6"1(185cm) Keanu Reeves. As for Josh Holloway, his height is definitely downplayed a bit. He's probably 187cm or minimum 186cm

Watch Star Trek The Next Generation "The Pegasus", where Terry O'Quinn guest stars as Admiral Pressman. Watch carefully when Stewart, Franks, and O'Quinn are in the same scene. Stewart is 5'10", Franks is 6'4", and O'Quinn is approximately 6'3".

An inch taller than Karl Urban (185cm) so Matthew is probably 188cm, Quite a strong average.
Anything starting from 6'2" is a good height for men i guess. Most young actors nowadays are around 6'2" or so. 6'3" is probably necessary to stand out from the plurality.

He looks that tall but he was shorter than M.C. Gainey in lost. And we know Gainey´s height is 1`88. So? So Fox might be shorter than 1´88
