Rob do you agree that Sid is a good example of how huge a 6’6.75 guy can look when standing with good posture?
I mean looking back at old matches in the 90s he can give an even bigger impression than Tyson Fury. It could be could be sids posture or physique maybe?

Today I'm pretty confident Sid is about 6'5". And 6'6"1/2 for his peak sounds perfect but my doubts are about the height loss. We often take 1.5 inches away from these guys peaks, but are we so sure they lose this amount of height?
Because the way I see it Undertaker looked 6'6" range already during the American bad ass period. And Kane at 6'5.75/6'6" is really possible today.
I think he edged AliBaba by 1 cm, I'm not sure if Baba was 197 or 198 in that moment.

Roderick in my opinion the only time side looked taller was in 1989 any other staredown taker looked taller look at the tops of their head not the eye level honestly that video from 89 is kinda deceiving yes sid looks taller i won't deny that but he was also wearing a mask and practically had an afro so it's really hard to tell

He would have to be 6'7.5" but I don't know if that's ridiculous or not. If he is as listed then Undertaker is 6'6.5" peak.

I met him back in 1998 at an autograph signing in CT.
What struck me about him was that, when he was sitting down….he looked pretty normal sized, but when he stood up, he was huge.
In 1998, I don't think he would have really started shrinking, and my best guess as a 6'1" guy would have been about a little more than 6". So 6'7.5" would not have been unrealistic for Sid at peak.

Sid's leanness and posture made him look like 6'8'', but I think that's an illusion and he was more like an everyday full 6'6''. He always seemed taller than Hogan though. Deceptive.

If you look some recents pics of his torso , seems to be pretty compact and shifted compared to 30 years ago . Nowdays he seems to be anywhere in the 6'2.5-6'3.25 range . Probably more 6'3 or over than under , but it depends on his posture .

In a video on youtube,an interview with the late Leon White (Vader). Stated Sid was a legitimate 6 foot 7 guy. I think he certainly was at his peak. Always stood tall. Given he was billed 6'9" most times with wrestling always adding 2" of course.

Yeah he did look about 6ft7 flat with undertaker I would say......... but Sid does always did have very good posture whereas perhaps Taker was standing more relaxed in there Wrestlemania stare down. Sid stood with better posture than Kevin Nash too making the height difference look smaller.

Sotiris, I know Jim Justice...my father knows him personally. He worked for Jim & his father for about 20 years as a long haul truck driver for Blue Stone Farms. He’s a huge man. A legit 6’6”...but, over weight now. Probably has dipped under 6’6” by now I’m sure. I haven’t seen him myself in 9 going on 10 years. In 2008 he was still 6’6”.

Hogan and sid before the match are standing side by side during an interview and sid is noticeably taller then hogan to the tune of about 2 inches. I took a look at there footwear. I want to say that sids black boots were maybe a tad chunkier then Hogan’s yellow but not by much of any at all. If hogan was in fact 6’6 sid looked 6’8. Now something has to give because there peak heights on this site are a half inch difference. Can’t be. I’m gonna say Sid was 6’7.25-6’7.5 peak and hogan between 6’5.5 and 6’6.

@James B At the time as a 10 year old kid i didn't pay attention to his height, It was looking at the picture which i hadn't seen in many years and comparing his height to my fathers height in the picture as they are standing right next to each other, my father is 5'7.5 and in the photo the top of his head looks right around Sid's shoulder, it looks like a foot difference . But Sid may be standing with better posture, and pictures can at times be deceiving. I wouldn't guess him under 6'7 though in any case.

He would edge hogan in his prime. And I'd say by an inch or inch and a half easy. He was probably a full 200-201 for his prime. I can see him above the listing Rob has possibly by comparison. 6'6 today fits well. Hulk was 196-197 in tip top prime never a full 198cm tho

It's crazy how different heights can look. I have a friend who's 6'6 and you'd swear he was 6'4 tops and another who's 6'7.5 and you'd swear he was 6'9. When they're together you can see there's only 1.5 in it.

It always intrigues me because Sid is always tilting his head up(raising his eye level) and standing with perfect posture whenever staring down Taker whereas it's hard to tell if Taker is standing as straight given his tendency to adopt a looser posture(makes sense given his deadman gimmick).

It doesn't add up Logan. There is video proof of them being eye to eye when both were young. Sometimes taker was slightly taller once he became the deadman. Not an inch in it thats for sure.

Deduct about 2.5cm for the present and indeed was photographed at just over 198cm at about 3am one morning several years back when arrested.

Some are using the luger staredown but do look at it closer, luger there has the posture advantage and looks to be "tiptoeing", there if luger isn´t more than 6'3 sid may look a bit under 6´7 but then we have also this staredown:

Editor Rob some small difference is possible, depends on extent of damage. But then his other leg would be same so it would effect his hips if one leg ended up shorter...why some people have genuine medical reason for small or large lifts.
Jenny's Father broke his hip/upper femur just falling in his house about 5 years back. He has special NHS elevator shoe for one of his feet, about a 2-inch lift on the outside of his shoes...all down to the break.
