Agree with "punjabi's are tall" on the height of Punjabi girls. Most of them are taller than the average Indian girl and are close to the average indian male's height. Out of 10 Punjabi girls, atleast 1 will be a 6 footer, 2 wud be taller than 5'9", abt 4 will be betwn 5'6" & 5'9" and 3 shorter than 5'6'. Not only are they tall but they are very well built too, they easily weigh abt 10 kgs more than any other indian girl their height.

In bollyfan's pic Bipasha is wearing 3 inch heels and looks about 2 inches taller than Deepika who is in flats. They are both slouching. I think Bipasha is about one inch shorter than Deepika. Deepika claims 5'8.5 which I think is correct. So Bipasha is about 5'7.5.

bollyfan's pic clearly proves that Bipasha is very much shorter than Deepika. If deepika is really only 5'9", then Bips shud not be taller than 5'6" OR if Bips is really 5'8", then Deepika is easily 5'11". One thing whichis very clear from the pic is that Bips is so much more broader at the shoulders and looks more athletic

Nah, western countries avg height is still around 5'10. Yes, people in the Indian subcont. are generally not that tall, but Pakistanis are quite tall tho especially if raised in the US. Nevertheless, models are quite tall. I am Bangladeshi and back home avg is like 5'5, but models are usually 6'0-6'4 range. But I think with new generation the gap will start to diminish a bit. Just the other day I saw this huge 6'4+ Indian guy in the mall.

well I saw the clip and sonam its quite difficult to tell who is taller because when Fardeen and Shahid were walking Fardeen was looking taller but when they stand and were talking where Kareena was hang so all that scene Shahid looks tall at least 1 inch.

And I beleive as she looks realy above 5"8.And she dont need to say wrong as most of heroines scare to tell that they are as tall because in bollywood talls heroines face problem to get film as the top of heroes have a average height and producers avoid to cast the heroine who is taller then hero.Thats why pooja batra and sonali bandere out of screne although they can still work.

i dont know what rob is saying but, i know of some guys who have admitted to wearing these types of shoes, and barefoot they look 3 to 3.5 inches shorter than me, but with them on they are the same height, and these shoes look like ordinary nike or addidas trainers.I will measure a pair next time, but rob is wrong. the heal doesnt have to be 3 to 4 inches off the ground, as the front part of the shoe also has a slight lift, maybe 1 inch.so the heal is only 2 inches above the front part of the foot, if it were a three inch lift.

As suggested by others she is around 5'8". Offlate shilpa wears at least 3" heels and claims she is 5'10". Akshay Kumar is around 5'11". Sonam: you must be "Jolking" about Shahid's height. He is between 5'6" and 5'7" as i know one of our colleagues who herself is 5'7" saw Shahid close quarters and was found shorter than her.

The lady in the blue gown is Eva Longoria of "Desperate Housewives" fame. It doesnt take much for people to tower over Eva as she is only about 4'11". Going by the pics of Ash with Eva, doesnt look like Ash is more than 5'4"

What do u guys think of Kareena Kapoor's new size 0 look. Does she appear taller now that she is so much thinner??? believe she weighs less than 48 kgs now compared to the 65 kgs which she was before. Always though Yukta Mookhey was the tallest girl in showbiz, but that has changed after having a look at Karishma Tanna who is easily 6'2". But Since karishma tanna is very thin (65kgs) to Yukta's 85-90 Kgs , Yukta looks bigger

I just watched 'Race' and Katrina Kaif and Bipasha Basu are together in several scenes and Katrina is convincingly taller. It seems like Bips is 5-7 and Katrina is closer to 5-9. Sameera Reddy is also in the movie and she too is taller than Bipasha, though she doesn't share much screen time with Katrina.

i work in airport,where i have seen almost all actors and compared myself with them(height).i am 6'1 tall.yukta was almost as tall as me.kareena was below my chin level.priyanka and lara were of same level.however vidya balan was exactly my shoulder level.i was amazed to see how tiny rani and riya sen were.neither of them were above my shirt pocket level.the shortest of em all was rinki khanna who stood between my chest and abdomen.i had to kneel down to invite her.there is no way that rani,riya and rinki are above 5 foot.
