I remember she appeared in a Sopranos episode and had a few scenes with Michael Imperioli in different "combos" (she in heels/he in shoes,she barefoot/he in shoes and even and more importantly both barefoot) and I honestly wouldn't have thought she was much taller at all... If anything, I could have even believed Michael having the edge (and I wouldn't go over your 5'7.75 listing for him, mind you)!

Personally, I wouldn't consider her "beautiful" (just a personal opinion), but she did look tall to me on Law&Order. And hey, 5 ft 8.5 is just as close to 5 ft 9 as it is to 5 ft 8. Just under 5 ft 9 would be 5 ft 8.75.
