How tall is Chris Cooper

@Rob: Since he's lost 3 cm, how tall would you say he was in The Patriot at 48? I'm mostly interested in him to pin down Gibson's height and Cooper could somewhat surprisingly look perhaps an inch taller: Click Here Click Here

Also, The Patriot might be a good film to mention for him.

@Rob: Did you upgrade his peak since my last post? Obviously, I can't disagree since he should be listed higher than Gibson since I saw about an inch difference and he should be similar to Karyo. But I see more 5'9", possibly just over with Nic Cage in 2003: Click Here Click Here He also looked the same height as 5'8.75" listed Sam Mendes in 2005: Click Here and Cooper wore these: Click Here while Mendes looked just a bit taller than George Lucas at that event, so I doubt his shoes were that big. Where it really gets tricky is 1 month before that, Cooper doesn't look much taller than you with Clifton Collins Jr.: Click Here but seems like he'd edge 5'9" Hoffman at that same event: Click Here Click Here and all their footwear seems 1" range give or take a fraction: Click Here Hoffman could probably look 5'8" range with his posture, but Cooper seems like a guy whose posture might be up and down himself and I guess he must have shrunk more than average by late 50's/early 60's.

This guy was clearly taller than Mel Gibson in The Patriot: Click Here I believe Mel was never more than 5'9", but I expect him taller in movies -- perhaps 5'9.5"-5'10" -- and it looked about an inch difference. I don't think he was much different than Tcheky Karyo(listed a half inch taller than Cooper for both peak and current.) Could Cooper have been a full 5'10"? I'd be interested in how he looked with Damon early 00's as I don't remember. He does look shrunken with Damon more recently, though.

I think a peak of 70" for him and 69" now. He looked a full 2" shorter than 71" Jake Gyllenhaal in Demolition. Both great actors.

In Seabiscuit he looked as tall or maybe an inch taller than Tobey Maguire so he could be 5`9"

Stood next to him at Boston Logan airport. I'm 5'9.5, he was just a shade taller than I am. You're right on at 5'10.
