If he is measured 6'1.75 in socks, shouldn't he be 6'1.75 on this site? Or did he have like additional hair that added up to his height?
Editor Rob
He may have measured earlier

Taller than 5ft 11.65in Lowry. Taller than 5ft.75in Morant. Just. At best morning height. Not a full 6ft. At all. Blazers are my team. Lived in Portland and worked in cleaning kit etc at modal centre...

Rob, how tall do you think his teammate, CJ Mccolum is? His draft measurement was 6'2.25. He's kind of late bloomer cause he was only 5'2 or so during his freshmen year, at least that's what they claimed.

With 6'3.25 Wade

With Lillard

With 6'2 Curry

For comparison, here's how Lillard looks with Wade

CJ was listed at 6'4 before the height update and he's 6'3 now, while Lillard was listed at 6'3 and now 6'2, but you can see that CJ is definitely shorter than 6'4 in shoes Wade by about 1.5 inches.

CJ is likely 6'1 3/4
Lillard seems like 6 ft half inch guy honestly, solid 3 inches shorter than Wade.

Sounds good Rob?
Editor Rob
From a brief look I'd have thought he might get 6ft 2 if measured, but I haven't looked in depth. The more you see of somebody, the narrower your own guess (or range) can become.

@Jean I can't see the picture you're talking about, there is nothing in the Kyrie's page except what I have published
There is no way Lin and Irving are so tall and here is why.
Irving with Lillard: Click Here. Lillard with Lebron James shows us that he is a 6flat,period. A whole head shorter than LBJ,also Canson agrees with that.
Lin with 192cm Harden Click Here
Kyle Lowry's height has been already solved: Click Here shorter than Jimmy Fallon. Lowry is indeed 5.11 flat. Vanvleet is the only one that I haven't looked so much,he gives me the idea of a 178cm guy at max.

@5.9 legit Guy

You are right but Lin and Irving are 6'1.5 (186,5).
Just look the picture i posted in the kyrie page. His morphologie make him look 6' but in fact he is at least 6'1.25 After being measured 6.1'75 in the morning.
Cp3 is more like 5'11.5 (181,6) with 6'0.75-6'1 Donovan Mitchell, look again the picture with him and 6'3 Dwayne Wade, in cp3 page.
Lilard is 1.25-5 taller than 5'11 kemba Walker, i saw the pic you have posted, he is in fact more taller than what you think (by 0.5 inch ~ yeah.) The 6'1.75 measurement of dame could have been an errors, and it could be his shoes size.
You are right about Harden,curry,westbrook.
I dont have yet make my research about Lowry and vanvleet, but he seems to have be reported to 6'1 with shoes and 5'11 without.

I think the 5'9.75 (177) are very severe, even if hé could be Someone who had a morphology type of a midget

@Canson agree with you. He might be just a small fraction over 6ft during the morning but I don't think he can pull off as tall as 6ft 1/2 as you said because that's the Kyrie Irving height. In conclusion Lillard and Irving are one of the most inflated height here which is weird because Rob is usually great at estimating.Probly was busy with other celebs
I would say finally we have the ultimate response:
James Harden (192cm) Westbrook (189) Curry (187) Jeremy Lin(185) Irving(184cm) Lillard(183) CP3(180.5)=Kyle Lowry(180.5) VanVleet(177)

@Monkey Knees: I was watching First Take on ESPN once and Stephen A Smith said that Westbrook was 6’4. I don’t get why people inflate heights. He’s not as bad as Nick Wright or Hubie Brown. Wright called Durant 7-1 and Brown always refers to people In shoes plus an inch or two. Russ is probably 6’3.5 in basketball sneaks meaning 6’2.25”, his Predraft height, barefoot. He would likely be a solid 6’3” out of bed so maybe the 6’4 is a shoe height. But Stephen A Doesn’t know what a legit 6’4” looks like lol? I’m sure Tom Brady and Russ would Look different in person being one really is 6’4 and the other is not. To Russ’s credit he claims 6’3” himself as he called Durant 6’10” once. Can’t find the article but they asked him along with others like Scott brooks and Hasheem Thabeet how tall Durant was. Most said 6’10”. Likely a morning height sand with Russ. IMHO KD May be 6’9.25 or 6’9.5 afternoon height and 6’10.25 or .5 morning height
Canson said on 1/May/20
@5.9 Legit Guy: agreed. I see a good 1.5 there as opposed to 2. Assuming Curry didn’t grow, and it doesn’t look like he has next to Russ or Draymond etc, Curry, based on the morning measurement of 6’2”, would be 6’1.5” maybe 6’1 5/8”. I agree that Lillard is 6’0” flat. But I don’t think it’s a morning measurement I would say that’s his afternoon height. To tell you the truth, I almost wonder if the 6’1.75” was his measurement in shoes or if he was possibly rounded up to 6’0.75 from 6’0.5 or 6’0 5/8” early morning and that he’s only 6’0 or 6’0 1/8” range afternoon height. Safe enough to say Curry is essentially a weak 6’2” and that Lillard is a solid 6’

@Monkey Knees: Kemba Walker is a legit 5’11” guy though not just a morning measurement. He measured 5’11.5 morning measurement. The pic that 5.9 Legit guy posted looks right. Canson said on 28/Dec/19
He got the same type of deal most players got who were egregiously overlisted like Jimmy Butler. Butler was listed 6’8” so they just dropped him to 6’7” when he’s not even 6’6” barefoot in the afternoon. Lillard was just dropped from 6’3” to 6’2” when he’s clearly not as tall as a 6’2.25 morning measured CJ McCollum. Lillard is not even 6’1” barefoot next to A guy who is listed 6’2.5 like Russell Westbrook or 6’1” Derrick Rose. Rose could be more 6’1.25 in reality. He’s possibly underlisted here
Canson said on 17/Dec/19
@Monkey Knees: I think he’s at least 6’ if not slightly over in the afternoon. Sub 6’ seems too low. But he isn’t the only one way off. Jimmy Butler is shorter than Kawhi Leonard who’s a weak 6’6” himself and he’s listed 6’7”. Butler is closer to 6’5” in the afternoon. Similar to Demar Derozan who looks 6’5

Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 14/Oct/19
Between Lillard and Rose some comparison can look 1cm because Rose had footwear and some hair advantage and other time more accurately to say they look close to each other or still fraction from Rose edging out Lillard. The most accurate i would have give Damian Lillard is 184.5cm and Westbrook 188.5cm both for the low. 185cm goes to Derrick Rose.
Shane Gray said on 12/Oct/19
@Canson the way so many bogus heights are coming in with teams self reporting these when they dont want to, just watch:

They will find a way to keep Lillard listed no less than 6'2" and I won't be surprised if he keeps his 6'3".
Shane Gray said on 12/Oct/19
@viper: yep. Tons of things can go inside thick nba socks including some lifts that are unnoticeable and add an inch. Take the socks off and take away that possibility.
Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 9/Oct/19
Well then we can have Westbrook at 6'2 then Lillard 6'0 1/2. There isn't over 1.5" between them for atual comparison. Westbrook isn't as tall as what many thinks from this range of 6'2 1/2-6'3. 184cm is the worst on Lillard.

So weak 6'1 applies don't understand those 5'11.5-6'0.25" people false estimate him to be much shorter and pull up Russell Westbrook 6'2.5-6'3 that is silly. They're 1.5" apart not even 1.75". Bryant said on 25/Apr/19
@Junior Hernandez 1990 I mean, just look at that pic with Karlie Kloss. Women never inflate their height, so she's definitely 6'2+ and is clearly taller than Dame.

Russ looks 3 inches taller than Dame tbh.
Shane Gray said on 24/Apr/19
@Rob: Considering an inch can mean lots of money in the NBA in regard to draft slot, player evaluation etc, I will not rule it out, either. Could definitely be pulled off considering they do not make players take socks off. A 6'3" in shoes point guard is plenty big enough to excel and be superstars in the NBA. We see this with Lillard, Curry, Rose, Westbrook, etc. But once you get down to 6'2" in shoes and under, it is very rare to see a superstar in the NBA and thus measuring well could mean millions for a player like Lillard. So while it seems kinda out there, when you factor everything in, it isnt that much of a stretch to imagine a player or his agent deciding to go this route.
Editor Rob
Unfortunately I can't find the article, but I did read about a Doctor mentioning how some players he saw used the lift trick and also drank a lot of fluids before a weigh in to add a little more poundage to their weight.
Shane Gray said on 23/Apr/19
@Rob and @Canson did you see my post below about in-sock lifts? These could be used by someone like Lillard and could explain him supposedly measuring what he did pre draft at a height that seems impossible for him.
Editor Rob
Sock lifts are definitely something you couldn't rule out.

I mean it seems unlikely, but I wouldn't dismiss it entirely.
Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 23/Apr/19
I think some people pushing too far saying Damien is only 6'0, he look at most 1.5" lower than 189cm Russell Westbrook. Damien is 185cm or the worst i'll rule out 184.5cm if Westbrook could be 6'2.25" at his low. If he is only 6'0 then Westbrook no higher than 6'1.5".
Canson said on 20/Apr/19
@Bryant: Demarcus Cousins (6’9 at a low) is about the same height as Durant? If Durant is taller it’s minimal. If you compare Draymond Green (6’5 by his coach’s admission both Gentry and kerr and Carmelo called him 6’5) that’s around a 4” difference between KD and Dray and Cousins and Dray. Also Dirk nowitzki is 6’10-6’11” ish and taller than KD by at least 1.5”. Rob’s listing is probably high for Durant by this site’s standards afternoon height but he’s likely at minimum a solid 6’9 who doesn’t dip under the mark and likely even a hair above the mark like 6’9.25. But his 6’10.5 is in shoes not barefoot. You are likely assessing him a shoe height since you claimed one yourself here.
Canson said on 20/Apr/19
KD is not 6’10.5 barefoot. He’s 6’9” range barefoot. Look at him with Greg Oden who is 6’11” and that’s 2” difference. It’s funny that being in the DC area where I live (northern VA) and where he is from in MD that people who’ve met KD and have had pictures with him have said that he’s 6’9” range barefoot and he looks 6’9” range in the pictures.

@Ellis KD is essentially 7'0.. He's 6'10.5 barefoot. Once he puts on shoes he's 7 feet with the wingspan of a 7'2 guy.

In every picture of him with people centers listed near 7'0, he's taller. Even with his horrible posture.

I was at a cookout with him before he was drafted. I'm 6'1 in shoes. I'd never felt so small in my life standing next to him and literally having to look straight up to talk to him.
Shane said on 17/Mar/19
@Rob and @Canson again: at bottom of thread Rob mentioned lifts under socks could allow one like Lillard to get an absurd measurement. I found some online that go in socks and would easily be hidden and add an inch. Not speaking of lifts or insoles to go in shoes. These are designed to go in the socks. Had no idea. I bet this type thing has been used more than we think with money on the line. Only way to avoid it is to do a pure barefoot measurement with no socks on.
Shane said on 17/Mar/19
Also @Canson Maurice Cheeks has likely shrunk at least 1/4 to 1/2 inch by now as well.
Shane said on 17/Mar/19
@Canson well said my friend. Agree on your comments. And when I said using your extreme low, I didnt mean you use that in listings here I was just referring to you using the term to differentiate between a normal low and an extreme low.
Canson said on 11/Mar/19
@Shane: I don’t use extreme low as my standard. I use the normal low. So if I’m a whisker over 6’5 like 6’5 1/16 out of bed and 6’4 1/4-1/3 at a low that’s what I would consider. I come out to 193.7-.8cm which is 6’4.25-.3. However, extreme low is 6’4-6’4 1/16 for me. I consider myself 6’4.25 though for this site purposes. As for Irving I agree. Some lose half some 3/8” if the measurement is accurate to begin with. I only estimated 6’1 1/2 if he possibly grew and he can look that tall at times honestly. But if we use the 6’1.75 pre draft he would be 6’1.25 like you said if he didn’t grow
Shane said on 9/Mar/19
@Canson my friend, if Irving measured 6'1 3/4" inch early in the AM, there is no way his low is as high as 6'1 1/2". No way he only loses 1/4" inch after an almost out of bed measurement. I could buy 6'1 1/4" at a typical low and around 6'1" using your extreme low standard.

@James and Monkey Knees: the other possibility I could buy is that Lillard was overlisted by 1”. That lines up closely to what James said about 184cm. He’d be a bit less but if Lillard measured 6’0.75 early AM he would be 6’0.25 at a low. Monkey Knees wouldn’t see much difference even if it’s 2cm depending on shoes and how tall he stands. Also he looks a good 2-2.25” shorter than Russ at times. Russ could’ve grown and may really be 189 or the hair over at 6’2.5 today but 6’2.25 is not out of the question either. I think it’s more that Westbrook was measured in the afternoon in 2008 like it stated in the article whereas Lillard was early morning

In the picture with Irving he has a bad shoulders posture, his shoulders are a bit crouched down, while Irving has his shoulders perfectly firm.

About 1.84 seems fine.

Through working as a kit man at the moda centre for a year, i can confirm Lillard is barely 6ft in the morning. 6ft 0.5in tops, morning height. Proof that NBA draft heights are Inc of shoes. 6ft 3in apparently!? Ha! 6ft dead on. No more. Just watch The Blazers. Its obvious.
Canson said on 5/Jan/19
@Paul: some players go with how they’re listed in the program whereas others do give their barefoot heights. Barkley has used his as has Isaiah Thomas Chris Webber but he’s rounded up to 6’9” most likely as he looks weak 6’9” Latrell Sprewell claims 6’4 but listed 6’5
Paul NS (6ft 0.5) said on 3/Jan/19
I was wondering what he would actually claim, given that it's obvious he's well below 6'3"... turns out on Twitter he's claimed 6'3" many times. Do they not tell people what they measure barefoot xD
Ellis said on 3/Dec/18
@Junior Hernandez 1990: I think this was a rare mistake, it happens. Stephen Curry is a strong 6'1, given that the draft class he was in was measured in the morning that would imply that he would go down a little, I'd give him 6'1.5-6'1.75. Most players that are measured in the combine the measurements are genuine, but you have to take into account that it was morning time, probably 30 minutes to an hour after waking. Kevin Durant is a really tall guy an it's obvious to tell, he is 6'9.5, that is why he sizes up with most centers and he is the same height or a little taller. The billing is bs although, some announcers say he is over 7 feet and it is common to hear them say he is a 7 footer, I believe LeBron even said that he was 7 feet tall. I really wanna see Giannis Antetokounmpo on this website, there is a picture of him and Kevin Durant and they look a similar height range.
Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 27/Nov/18
If he is only 6'0 or 5'11 1/2 then that will ruined every entire nba players who was drafted and measure in the morning. Go for an example Kevin Durant would be 6'8 and Stephen Curry 6'0 1/2. 6'1 seem fair enough if not 6'0 1/2 be it.

@Christian: right he could’ve been off but if he’s say maybe even a hair over 6’2, I doubt Liangelo is 6’4”. Prob 6’3 max if the guy knew what he was talking about
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 16/Oct/18

6'2" for Liangelo is too low though. Maybe that reporter was 6'2.5" and rounded down to 6'2". And also "eye to eye" doesn't always mean the exact same height, as some people can have higher or lower eye level than others.

@Rob this crazy listing is making your site loosing points
This guy is 6 foot at max,I believe he is 5'11.5
Editor Rob
Some would say that listing somebody less than what they measure is crazy! He's already 3/4 less than what he was if he was 5ft 11.75 say, then it is a lie or 'honest mistake', which puts into question every measurement surely.
Canson said on 14/Oct/18
@Legit 6’2: to answer your question Rob likely lists him 6’1” instead of 6’0” because he doesn’t want to downgrade someone. He generally would only do that if he has proof meaning if he’s met him in person which is understandable. But him downgrading him to 6’1” means he doesn’t believe that he’s 6’1.75 or his combined height. But if we look at the majority of basketball players here, none of them measure these heights at a low I doubt. As far as Lillard, I don’t believe that he’s as low as Monkey Knees said 5’11.5. I put him right at 6’0” like Christian said as well. Maybe he dips to like 5’11 7/8 at a low. Next to Russell Westbrook, he looked about 2-2.5” shorter than him. I don’t challenge Russ’s listing as much suffice to say that his pre draft looked more accurate than his current listing (6’2.25 vs 6’2.5)

But a little nugget of info that may interest you and Christian. Liangelo Ball. He “supposedly” measured 6’4” but is said to only be around 6’2”. After comparing more pics I can firmly say he’s not 6’4 or even close to it. Maybe he’s 6’3 tops but the columnist said that he himself is 6’2” and they were eye to eye. Goes to show pre drafts are not as accurate as they claim

@Christian: agreed. Nash looks 6’0” range
Canson said on 9/Oct/18
@Legit 6’2: to be fair, Rob even admitted that it could be a discrepancy with the measurement. He may have actually measured 6’0.75. Not to mention combines take place early morning and don’t include 1/8” increments. Very possible that 6’0.75 is even just over 6’0.5 and that he’s just 6’0” at a low. 5’11.5, while possible, looks low with Karlie Kloss. I see an inch to inch and a half prob. Kloss may just be 6’1” flat and he could be 6’0”
Legit 6'2 said on 8/Oct/18

Alright, so I want everyone's take on how tall I am and the other guy is here. I went to school with the guy on the left and I know he had to have been at the very least eight inches taller than me. That's assuming his head is 8 inches long because it looks smaller than average, but I don't know. I'm guessing in this picture Damian stands five inches shorter than the guy on the left whether he's wearing lifts or not (I have no idea) but the main point is, I measure 5ft 10 5/8 at the end of the day, and am usually pretty close to 5'11" in the afternoon so that would make the guy on the left at least like 6ft 6 3/4, but that's assuming he's only 8 inches taller than me. I may even come slightly below his chin level which could be closer to nine inches but I'm not sure. I want Rob and you guys to give me your opinion.

Also I'm not trying to boast about my height, or seem taller, I actually just want to know my true height because it's kind of confusing to see people talk about how Damian isn't even 6ft 1 when he could be 3.5-4 inches taller than me. In pictures he doesn't really look 6ft 3 or even 6ft 2 but it's just hard to believe he isn't close when I can see him next to an acquaintance.

@Legit 6’2: it clearly said that the 2009 class measured early morning. So curry is not a legit 6’2”. And Russ measured 6’2.25 in the afternoon. He’s not 6’3”. It’s not worth inflating players just to make someone else a height you want them to be which is what you are doing. If you see Curry with Russ or with Draymond Green (said by his coaches and other players to be 6’5) Curry is around 3.5-4” shorter

Lillard's even worse than guys like Wade and Wall, because at least those guys look around an inch shorter than their supposed measurements. Lillard looks nearly 2 inches under his.

Canson said on 1/Oct/18
@Legit 6’2”: Curry measured that in the 6 o’clock hour of the morning same as Blake Griffin. He’s likely 6’1.5. He’s not as tall as Russell Westbrook is
Andrea said on 1/Oct/18
I'm well aware of that, Christian, but 6'0.5 (or 5'12.5, to quote her) does seem too low, to me. Even when she was listed at that mark on here, before she came out with 6'1.5, I was a bit surprised because she could often look taller than that. 6'1 could be just a round down from her 6'1.5 claim, just like 6'2 is a round up. Either way, 6'1.5 is certainly the most I'd argue, 6'1 probably the lowest.
As for Damian, I can see him being 0.5-1 inch shorter than her, but I'm not sure about more than that. Based only on that, 6'1 is certainly the most I'd argue, although I should see more of him to get a better idea of his height...

I’m not sold that Russ is over 6’2.25 when he was next to Mo Cheeks. Cheeks is listed 6’1” but likely not that tall barefoot. It’s rare that an NBA player especially a point guard is as tall as listed. Cheeks looks 6’0.5 tops but 6’0” range

@Rob: this article says that they began measuring early morning in 2009 and I can’t see why they would stop if it benefits the players involved. So if they all measured 1/2-3/4” higher (which is evidenced with how early Blake Griffin measured in 2009) and is consistent with Blake’s timing of just waking up out of bed, then Lillard being less than 6’0.5 shouldn’t be a surprise if your theory of him being an inch less (6’0.75) is true. See last post that I made

Canson said on 28/Sep/18
@Rob: if they’re measuring around an hour or less after waking and what you said (latter) is true, then 6’0.5 wouldn’t be the lowest for him. If he really were listed 6’0.75, given the absence of 1/8” increments at the NBA combine, it’s very possible that he could even been between 6’0.5 and 6’0 5/8 very early morning and would dip to around 6’0 or 6’0 1/8”. When you mentioned that, did you mean 6’0.5 is the lowest combine (early morning measurement) you could see?
Editor Rob
I think the highest he looks is 6ft 1, the lowest 6ft and change.

But it goes against the measurements. The socks/sneaker matches up, so either they lied (which means any listing could be a fib) or it was an honest mistake in documenting.

Camera is iffy and all that but there really isn't much between them.

I still say 6'0.5 would be reasonable for Lillard and a better fit. I also understand the lower guesses based on how he looks with others. This 6'1 listing probably fits in better when comparing with other celebheights basketball players estimates (which are overlisted in my opinion or would I say early in the day measurements).

@Rob, what is the lowest you would estimate Lillard to measure?
Editor Rob
6ft 0.5 might be the lowest I'd estimate.

I'm still curious how he managed to get the taller listing by nba and whether he was one of the rare guys who pulled a trick with lifts in socks. Either that or they made a mistake and he was 6ft 0.75 and 6ft 2 in sneakers.
Andrea said on 27/Sep/18
Although she might be slightly favored in the picture above, it certainly looks like Karlie is comfortably taller than him (though I doubt it would be much more than an inch). That alone certainly destroys his 6'1.75 measurement, considering that she herself claims to be only 6'1.5 (and I wouldn't be surprised if she was a bit shorter than that).
Christian 6'5 3/8" said on 27/Sep/18

Karlie's leaning in and she still looks about 3/4" taller. And there's barely any camera. I'd argue a 1"-1.25" difference between the two.
Frost said on 26/Sep/18

Yeah she definitely has a camera advantage and can't be anything more than a half inch to 3/4 inches above Lillard.

Damian I am convinced is between 184 and 185 cm. Never looks a flat 6'0, never looks like he's much above 6'1.

@Junior and Viper and monkey knees: Lillard may even have a slight footwear advantage on Kloss. Maybe 1/4” no more but if that really is Karlie at an advantage, the shoe difference would take some of that away. Look at him in the pic Viper posted he’s no more than 6’0”

@Rob: and whatever he really measured was in the morning. Prob was really 6’0.75 or .5 early AM
Canson said on 26/Sep/18
@Nik: wouldn’t surprise me if that’s an error. Dwayne wade is in no way shape or form 6’3.75 either. I’d be surprised if Wade measured 6’3” flat at a low. He looks 6’2.5-.75 honestly and close to 6’4” in shoes. He is listed 6’4 as opposed to 6’5 which he would’ve been had he genuinely been that height. Lillard looks 6’1 in shoes next to Russ who is 6’3 range in shoes
Canson said on 26/Sep/18
@Junior: that’s a full inch. I agree with Viper. Maybe not 5’11.5 but Lillard is prob 6’0.5 max. Maybe just 6’0”. Russell Westbrook towers over him and if you see Mo Cheeks and Westbrook, or MJ and Russ, I have a hard time even giving Russ the height Rob gave him. 6’2.25 like Drafted and that may be him growing 1/4”. Lillard is overlisted on his pre draft. It wouldn’t surprise me if he had thick socks or if that’s a shoe height for him
