In your opinion and on the base on your experience, do you think that models' heights are measured barefoot or with shoes?
Is there the possibility that the agencies that list Gandy at 188 cm measure him barefoot and the ones that list him at 190/191 measure him with shoes?

Hi Rob, I don't see 188 cm for David, there are pics with Hu Bing which is around 189 and he always has an advantage of 3 cm, there is also pics of Hu Bing with Beckham and it looks like a 189, there are pics from David with Actor Ocio a Spanish ex professional football player from athletic Bilbao and he is 187 cm flat and they are same height, so I think he is a 187 flat.

Hu bing is listed 6'2.5" not 6'2 and in this case Gandy would be 6'0.5" and all celebrities need to have a major downgrade at least 1.25". I would have believe Hu Bing could be a guy downplay his height by an inch. Really don't look under 6'3.5" when i saw Hu really edge out a 6'3 youtuber/male model. Gandy look legit 6'2 taller than 6'1 3/4 Clive Owen.

I saw david in person today in London. I am a solid 6'1 myself with normal shoes with a 2cm height and he was wearing 1inch high boots but he looked a solid 3-4 inches taller than me so I did imagine he will be around 6'3 190cm barefeet

I had a friend who was an atual 6'2.25 which i measure him a few times but sadly he can always look weak 6'2 or 6'1 standing alone due to his body structure muscular physical , very broad shoulder and chest bigger thighs thick calf when wear shorts that mix up to look like 6'1 guy alot and his overall proportion look just like david gandy compare to some 6'2 guy with smaller shoulder skinny lower body who can easily look over 6'2 but not at all

Editor Rob it's a strong height for modelling. Yeah 190 range might be a kind of model weight, but then some models at that height do still have decent muscle, even 200-205 may not look too big.

Editor Rob I would say 6ft 1 is a good mark for a model, but many are in 6ft 1-3 range. For women, I think pretty much between 5ft 9 and 10 is an ideal height.
