@GP, I don't as I've seen Statham being interviewed by women and I can see the effect he has on them in real life, it's the same in films. There's plenty of much better looking actors and I don't get the same vibe I get with guys like Statham and Connery.

Saw Blitz today...great flick. I noticed that Paddy Considine (listed here at 5 foot 9.75)seemed noticeably taller than Jason in a few scenes...seemed like a couple of inches to me. I know Jason slouches...but it still makes me think he's more likely around 5'8 ish rather than 5'9.

Editor Rob he can look anywhere in 5ft 8 to 9 range. For a guy who is remarkably agile and fit, I don't think he holds his posture that greatly though.

I'm 5'10 and I know that's accurate because I have annual doctor checkups and I get measured, I met Statham a little while ago and he was slightly shorter than me, I'd put him at a solid 5'8", 5'9" in the mornings. In no way is he 5'7"

Bad posture. Could easily be close to 6 foot if he had better posture. Everyone is short in the expendables except for some characters. 5 foot 9 is about right. Stands his ground next to sly, jet li, chuck norris and jean claude van damme. He looks tiny next to kelly brooke.

Stallone, Van Damme, Statham, Mel Gibson, Chuck Norris are all action stars who always appeared to be 5'8" or 5'9" guys and roughly all around a similar height. I wouldn't bet on any of them being above 1.77 or below 1.73 put it that way.

Never be deceived by Stallone's apparent height in a film LOL!!! I think you'd find they are roughly the same height in actuality, in fact Statham could edge Stallone out nowadays as Stallone looked to have lost a bit of height in his mid 60s in that yacht photo.

Editor Rob van damme is somewhere in 5ft 9 range, statham I've always thought looked a 5ft 9 guy, stallone today without lifts could now be at the stage where he's lost a fraction of height.

jase is 5ft 8in, he most certainly is not 5,9 5.10 or 11 some people havent a clue on estimations quite clearly, jase is infact a mate of mine and he finds it very funny how you guys argue over his height like you know him or something, we find this very amusing :-) just for the record he doe indeed hold a black belt in martial arts and is not a fake, unlike most of these assumptions,

No offense but i don't take a womans word when it comes to height as most i've found are terrible at judging it. I'm 5'8 barefoot and a delusional 5'3 woman seemed to think she was almost as tall as me?lol. Though the opposite with women they try to make themselves shorter. Also i know for a fact those prison height things are very inaccurate.

First of all, this guy is my fitness role model...I can't believe how shredded he was in Transporter 3. And he doesn't cop out and shave his head like other guys at the crossroads of baldness. He just keeps his hair cropped and actually makes baldness look awesome. With all of this said, I thought Statham was a solid 5'11", and I have to admit that the thought of him not being at least 5'10" does diminish his awesomeness a little, imo.

Look people, I met the man in San Diego 2 years ago. I put on alot of extra weight and have actually shrank about an 1-1/2 inches as a result. So going from 5'10" to 5'8-1/2" and with him wearing cowboy boots (which gives about 1-1/2 to 2 inches)I was clearly a good 2 inches taller than him, Which would make the man about 5'4" or 5'4-1/2" which would also make Jet Li somewhere around 5'1" or 5'2". Trust me, he's nowhere near 5'9".

i just watched the movie CHAOS again which stars Statham, Ryan Phillipe and Wesley Snipes and in nearly all scenes where footwear is visible, Statham is clearly 2-3cms taller than 174cm listed Ryan Phillipe and a fraction taller than 175cm listed Snipes. Maybe Statham is 176cm-177cm? Never does his foowtear appear suspect either and his foot angle looks natural and not raised like he was wearing lifts.

Directors do their job when they film from angles that make actors look taller. I guess being lean and mean doesn't hurt either...but who cares? When you're hot your hot!

in death race they had him stand in front of a height chart. its was dead on 6'. i knew 6' was a stretch. he seemed to have 3 inches on mcshane in one scene before the first race. mcshane is listed here at 5'7.5. but in the scene he is in the mask so dunno if it was really him behind it or a stand in. still a good actor though

Jay is always out and about in London. Any regular up west will tell you that! He is between 5.7 and 5.9! Noway near near 6 foot as I am, and he is taller than 5.5, my missus height!

Ok people! Jay is a friend of mine, and he is 5'8 tall. In the movie industry they use creative camera angles,lifts in shoes, and even dig ditches for other actors to walk in to make certain actors appear taller. ALOT of actors are VERY short, below average (like Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Swartzeneggar, and yes, Jason Statham.) Bottom line is, who cares? Jay is drop dead gorgeous, super talented and fast becoming the most popular action hero out there today.
