I don't understand why people claim Ali Baba is a lift wearer. Why would he need to wear lifts. I don't think he would wear lifts just so he can claim people are shorter. He is a very tall guy and seems to be honest in his estimates of peoples height. I think he is giving his most and fair opinion. He has even given people the benefit of the doubt when estimating peoples height. Curious to know your opinion of Kanes height Ali Baba? I think 6'8 as Glenn himself has claimed. Suprised you haven't met him yourself, seeing as you live close to him...sort of haha.

As far as the "Stallone-esque" posture I'm not sure exactly what that is. I've never actually studied pictures of Stallone. I will just say this, and you can take it for what you want. My posture was pretty much the same throughout our entire time together. The only difference between any if the pictures (other than the one where I'm getting ready to walk away) is camera angle. Two of pictures were actually taken only a split second apart from different cameras. So if you're referring to either of the pictures where we're posing for the camera they're both the same exact posture/pose.

Agreed Ali Baba, as for Hogan I think now that he is touring again with the WWE and his role will be to do meet and greets you might very well get your chance to meet and get a picture with him after all. I am going to Florida in April and will be visiting his beach shop, hopefully i will get the chance to meet him and a picture to boot.

Just going off the Ali Baba photos makes me think Mane is not 6'8". I'd say Mane is the taller of the 2, especially given the half inch footware difference, but not by 2". The real difference looks closer to 2 cm. So I'd estimate Mane at 6'7", which is still super tall and often hard to distinguish from 6'8".

The flat shoes like Mane's have about a half inch thick sole. The shoes I wore only add about an inch to my barefoot height. I've had them for about 5 years and they are well worn and beyond broken in. I don't know if Hogan does anything where I could get a chance to meet him anymore (at least not anywhere close to me), but we can always hope. As I've said before Hogan is a tricky one to guess his height because he looks different in so many pictures. And let's not worry about the previous posts. We're starting over as far as I'm concerned and I'll be cordial as long as you try to do the same. Fair?

I have previouly posted a video of me walking through a 7 foot door when I was comparing what I look like doing so to video of Kevin Nash walking through a supposed 7 foot door. That's probably the closest thing that I have to any real verification of my height, not that that's conclusive in any way.

Yeah mine is similar maybe 4.15 I guess I didn't pay mind to top your head! Some taller guys have the 4.5 forehead and almost 5 inch eyeline. Mane seems to also have an average size head for a 6'4+ guy.

Franky, I know for a fact that my morning height is only 3/4" over my evening height. Not everyone loses height the exact same way throughout the day. I have two disks that are partially compressed in my neck from getting my head jammed into the wrestling mat when I was in high school about 30 years ago. Therefore I have less space to compress from the get go. By mid day I'm already at my lowest. And if you think there's that much difference between us then that's your opinion going off an estimation of where you think the top if his head is under his hat. I know where the top of my head is under my hair and our eye level is nearly the exact same (before calculating in the half inch shoe advantage). If you want to believe his head is an inch and a half longer than mine from the eyes up only, continue to do so. Seems silly to me considering our faces look to be the exact same length from the eyes down. And I gave him an extra half inch in my estimate just to be safe. Ali Baba you've said before your night time height is a solid 6'6". Which makes your morning height 6'7". Meaning your mid day/true height is 6'6.5". Very tall people have more like a full inch, not only 3/4 an inch between morning height. My 6'7" friend's morning height is measured a full inch above his night time height. The taller you are the greater the difference between morning/nighttime height.
And Tyler Mane looks 1-1.5 inches taller then you Ali Baba in those pics you posted. Then he has half inch footwear disadvantage. Even if your not 6'6.5 but a hair under it, Tylers still 6'8".

I measured 6'5.75" without shoes and with the same shoes in those pictures I was 6'6.75" tall. I have to agree with Red that the hat does hide an oddly bulbous head. I think his receding hair line adds to the image of a large head as well. I think the head without the hat needs to be scaled down a touch, but its pretty close. When I've done similar comparisons I found that the top of my hair should be where the top of his head is. I have to keep my hair short or else it turns into a crazy afro thing so the difference between my hair and the actual top of my head is is around a quarter inch. Great pics, Ali Baba. If you're 6’6” “at the end of the day”, it’s safe to say you’re more like 6’6.5” for a good portion of the day and can legitimately claim that height even if you don’t want to. I still measure 6’4” late in the day (~ 11:00 p.m.) but would never claim 6’5” unless I could reach that mark by mid-day, which I can’t. If ever asked, I always say I’m 6’4”.
Given your footwear advantage and maybe a slight camera tilt, Mane could be a legit 6’8” but no more than that. He’s in his mid-40s and likely has lost little if any height absent some serious injury that affects his posture.
Great pics, Ali Baba. If you're 6’6” “at the end of the day”, it’s safe to say you’re more like 6’6.5” for a good portion of the day and can legitimately claim that height even if you don’t want to. I still measure 6’4” late in the day (~ 11:00 p.m.) but would never claim 6’5” unless I could reach that mark by mid-day, which I can’t. If ever asked, I always say I’m 6’4”.
Given your footwear advantage and maybe a slight camera tilt, Mane could be a legit 6’8” but no more than that. He’s in his mid-40s and likely has lost little if any height absent some serious injury that affects his posture.

Actually, I did a comparison between my Vans boat shoes (the old school slip on black and white checkerboard ones) and the runners I was wearing with Tyler. The soles on the vans are thicker than I thought and there is just under a half inch difference between them. I was shocked as I had expected the boat shoes to have a quarter inch or less for sole.

We know that Kevin Nash is still 6'9" for a fact because of his recent mugshot. Mane used to team with Nash and they were pretty much identical in height. Mane was at least 6'8.5" and it wouldn't surprise me if he was 6'9".

Then I lifted with Tyler - I felt like a smurf! I asked him his measurements and, at that time, he told me 6'-10" and 355. Since Morgan has been shown to wear lifted boots, I would hope he would tower over somone who's 6'1"-6'2.
And I'm not sure how you can say Mickie James is "undoubtedly" wearing different foot wear. She's wearing a similar outfit, to include the same hat. Since women tend to wear footwear that goes with certain outfits it's more reasonable to believe she's wearing the same or similar shoes. I think what your seeing is Morgan in street shoes instead of his lifted wrestling boots. He's not standing far enough behind her to have an effect on the picture as long as the camera angle isn't below Mickie's height level.

i never said the ncaa were correct but its extremely rare for the ncaa to be out by more than 2 inches, out by 4 inches i haven't heard of before, sometimes they are spot on e.g kevin durant was listed 6'9 by ncaa and measured barefoot at that height (and looks a little more these days since he was still only 18 when drafted), i already posted video of 6'10 ncaa listed blake griffin getting measured before, he was listed 6'10 in college Click Here and he came out at 6'8 3/4 barefoot or 6'10 in shoes 2mins 30secs Click Here
as for abyss and morgan there is about 3 inches between them, they tagged for a number of months in 2008-9 and had quite a few interviews standing together and morgan always looked about 3 inches taller, i also attended 2 tna shows around that time where they tagged and saw them standing side by side at top of ramp together
i never said the ncaa were correct but its extremely rare for the ncaa to be out by more than 2 inches, out by 4 inches i haven't heard of before, sometimes they are spot on e.g kevin durant was listed 6'9 by ncaa and measured barefoot at that height (and looks a little more these days since he was still only 18 when drafted), i already posted video of 6'10 ncaa listed blake griffin getting measured before, he was listed 6'10 in college Click Here and he came out at 6'8 3/4 barefoot or 6'10 in shoes 2mins 30secs Click Here
as for abyss and morgan there is about 3 inches between them, they tagged for a number of months in 2008-9 and had quite a few interviews standing together and morgan always looked about 3 inches taller, i also attended 2 tna shows around that time where they tagged and saw them standing side by side at top of ramp together

Bringing up this old post because I got to stand next to Matt Morgan last night, along with Crimson and Rob Terry. Also there was an English gentleman standing next to me in the crowd who claimed 6'8", which I believe was in shoes and not barefoot (so about 6'7" barefoot). We both pegged Matt Morgan at about 6'6" barefoot judging by how tall he was compared to us and the 2" thick wrestling boots he was wearing. Crimson was wearing boots with the same sole and I would peg him at 6'3" barefoot. Crimson also stands extremely straight. Not normal straight, but how someone stands when they're trying to be as tall as they possibly can. Rob Terry was between 6'2" and 6'3". Terry is, however, extremely thick. I was expecting Morgan to be taller since one of the TNA workers tried to tell me before hand that Morgan was a legit 7". Of course the guy thought I was 6'10". I knew Morgan wasn't 7', but did expect him to be taller. Rob Terry jokingly remarked that I couldn't take a picture with him because it would "ruin the illusion of wrestling". It was a fun time. Kind of a big money grab with the way they try to push merchandise, but fun.
I know Vegas will come up with links to pictures and videos of people he will claim are certain heights, but I'll go with what I have seen in person anytime. I've been on this earth for a lot of years and have been all over the world with the military and have known people of all sizes. The majority are shorter but some taller. I have had several friends who were 6'7", 6'9" and 6'10". These guys aren't that tall. And I'm still waiting for JT to post the wonderful merge of mine and Nash's pictures. I had a good chuckle when I stumbled upon it on his Photobucket page.

Punctuation can change the entire meaning of this comment. One clue is that the grammar is not correct for her to be saying that the Rock, Michael and Tyler are all 6'6". I'm thinking it should actually read as follows:

I agree in Robs halloween he looks ALOT heavier then 275, but on this site right above the pircure it shows Tyler saying that he weighs 275 lbs. 275 lbs might not seem like that heavy for a 6'8" guy, but Tyler Mane is an ex pro wrestler and lifts weights. The guys built, no extra fat weight. I had no idea that he was Ajax on Troy the first time i watched it. When i first saw him walking with Achilles and standing with the other generals, i thought he looked about 6'8", he was very towering on that film. Not as much as Jones was but hey, the editors made it so he looked 8 foot instead of 6'10". Then again, Greeks aren't known for being exceptionally tall people in the first place.

Tyler Mane is the same height as Nash. Having him at 6'8" and Nash at 6'9" is foolish. Anyone can videos of them together in WCW and see that Nash wasn't an inch taller.

I would love to see him stand next to Kane who I believe is 6'8" barefoot. In the Mamun pic he is very bent over with head tilt. Can't wait to see him in another film.

There's a picture floating around of Tyler Mane standing with Dennis Rodman, who is 6'7"( listed as 6'8" by the NBA ) or better, and he appears to be 2 inches taller than Rodman. i wish i could find that photo.....

Being tall myself, 6'9" I have found that people find it really hard to judge height once you get past a certain marker as I get people guessing I'm 6'5" and then they won't believe until I prove it!

footwear plays a bigger role than usual with big guys, my brother is 6'5" barefoot (310 pounds) but can be over 6'8" with his workboots on (size 16), he said he'd wear lifts if he could find him in his size, he loves being bigger than other people.
