Definitely in Belly he looks 5'9" to 5'10". He never looks much less than DMX at all. Of course that's a film - camera angles, special shoes etc may play a role. However, Nas hands down as one of the worst postures I've seen which is why he probably appears shorter a lot of the time. I'd say 175cm a safe bet which I wouldn't have thought if Glenn hadn't met him first hand a couple of times and confirmed what i had always sneakingly suspected. He's taller than he appears to be.

um....lol nas must be laughing at this upgrade...I mean hes obviously 5'8.5 at best and rounds down. Perhaps hes 5'8 at night..that would still put him at near an inch over glenns height (.7 average). Add timbs into the equation and you have him looking 1.7 inches taller than glenn. I've never posted on here before but I had to say a couple of things:

Firstly, it cracks me up when I read posters saying that they saw someone from across the street or eating at a restaurant and now they know the person's height to the exact inch. That's hilarious!

Secondly, NO PERSON should argue with Glenn's height assessments. The guy has been doing this for years for a living and he's standing next to these people and looking at their footwear, talking to them and watching them walk around. He knows!

I think this 5'9" height is accurate. Like I said previous he was relatively close to DMX's height in Belly. As for him rapping 5'8" on a mixtape most likely 1) it's a freestyle jam hence a lot of lines will be fill-in's, off the top of the head things, maybe he just fluffed his own height or just liked the sound of 5'8" better. (Might sound stupid,, but saying "five-eight" as a word is more a strikingly pronounced than "five-nine". I expect to be flamed for that one.) 2) The guy probably doesn't know his own height, seriously, lots of people don't care. He's probably just latched onto a height some 6'3" guy put upon him. And if Glenn says he appears 5'10, then that isn't out of bounds. Everyone should check out a couple of the live performances on you-tube he did with Jay-Z in New York last year and the year before that. He does not appear shorter than 5'9" in either of those, in one he does look a solid 5'10".

Honestly, how many people are really aware of their specific height? Contrary to popular belief, not everyone does. I didn't know my specific height until I was 20. I used to think I was 6'1". Before then everybody always commented things like "oh my you have grown", "are you 6'1?". Had a physical and got a rude awakening that I'm just shy of 6' lol.

But my point is, some people just don't sweat it like some on this website do. I think Nas is one of those people, along with Colin Farrell, David Duchovny, and Brad Pitt. They don't really care to be specific; it's not something on their minds on a regular basis.

We all have our 'I look taller than normal' days. Nas does have a rep for being kinda stand-offish and unfriendly.

Nas is elusive height wise. A series of photos from last year with nas performing with Jay Z give the impression of a solid 5'8" guy. However, I recently saw a video of a performance only a few months old with Nas and Jay Z where Nas looks nothing less than 5'10. Also in the movie Belly, Nas is only very slightly shorter than DMX. Could be an issue of posture

Wow,he was 29 huh? well I had a friend of mine tell me he was midget 7 years ago,so people do think he is short.and Kelis is TALL.so yeah,she is between 5-10 and 6ft,Id say near 6ft.I do have a photo with her.not sure if its on the site.other peers of mine said 5-10 for Nas.another DMX we have here.he played here and was around all week.he was such a jerk last year when I bumped into him that I dont care to meet him again.this past week wouldve been great to judge again.

Nas is a strange guy. Great lyricist but... he always looked short to me. On TV!!! Most guys look fairly tall at 5'10" (Clooney for example) I trust Glenn: He says the man is 5'10"-I believe him. But Nas somehow has this quality of appearing like a short guy...Bad proportions I guess. If you would have asked me I would have said 5'7"...

I say that the pic above makes Nas look possibly a smidgen over 5'8" but defintely not the 5'9" mark. Then again, shoes can't be seen and Glenn is leaning, so this may not the best pic to argue that Nas is taller than 5'8".

Yeah, but Nas is big on those Timberland boots which can give upwards of two inches which may explain why he was looking taller with Glenn. I'd say he in the 5'8-5'9" range.

Actually, I just checked Kelis' height on here, and it is 5'9" which I believe, and I believe according to her statement (that she is 3 inches taller than Nas) that would make Nas 5'6"

Nas I knew was small and I'd always thought he was 5'9 possibly 5'10 but 5'8 seems right and in his video'JUST A MOMENT" wit Quan(who's 5'11 or 6'0) Nas looks 5'8 or 5'9.
