Maybe he looked shorter in Coach Carter cause he was with a bunch of basketball players, who are naturally gonna be taller than other peoples. Since he got the role he must be at least 6'. He looks alot taller than 6'1 though, maybe its cause he is heavly built. C. says on 17/Dec/07

i took a photo with channing tatum and ice-t. i saw the two of them two weekends ago together, and channing had a large group of friends. they are exactly the same height. i would pin them both at 5 foot 11, really no more than that. i can post the photo if you want. ness says on 14/Jan/07

Bumped into him (literally) at the Sundance Film Festival. He was not that tall at all (though HELLA cute!). I'm 5'3 and was in 1" high boots, he was leaning in a bit, but I was just up to his mouth. Where is Robert Hoffman listed? But yeah if Hoffman is marked as 6'1 than either Channing is shorter than 6'1 or Hoffman is taller than 6'1 because in She's the Man Channing is barefoot half the movie or he is wearing flat shoes and Hoffman is taller, and also in the special features there is a photo gallery and one photo is Channing and Hoffman standing about to face off and their heads are touching and you can see Hoffman had about an inch or two on him, and Channing is standing up straight and Hoffman looks like he is slouching a little. wrestling says on 6/Apr/06
