this guy epitomises how hollywood is blinded by superficiality. yes he's tall, good looking and has a good physique. but for the life of him he cant act and single handedly ruined 'dear john'. i just hope he's big enough to admit it and take some lessons.

I dont think he is this height but maybe there is a chance he is like 5'11.75. this would explain the 6' sightings and also explain why he is generally listed as 6'1 (remember the one inch hollywood rule).

He and Wayans were much shorter than Akinnuoye-Agbaje who is 6'1 1/2 according to this site. Even if Akinnuoye-Agbaje was wearing lifts, he's definitely more than 1/2" taller than Tatum. So Either Akinnuoye-Agbaje is 6'2" or Tatum is like 6. Greg says on 12/Aug/09
I just saw G.I. Joe. There was a scene where they were trying to figure out the location of Duke (Channing Tatum). They were using some formula based on Duke's shadow cast by the sun. It was mentioned in that scene that Duke was 180 CM. This was probably the height of the character Duke and not necessarily Channing Tatum's real height. I just saw Channing Tatum today at an airport in a Mexican vacation spot. We actually bumped into each other and it took me a while to recognize him. Anyway, he's not 6'1"...he's very built and has a great body (face is meh), and I would put him at a strong 5'11" to a 6'0" at the VERY max.
