thelisting for Garrett Hedlund here is totally not fair. in tron2.0 he was a tad bit taller than bruce boxleitner still listed 6'2 here. in tron premiere Garrett Hedlund did not apear shorter in person than boxleitner but they look similar in height.

Why does everyone so fervently refuse to believe 6'2", or claim that he wears lifts and is really 5'11"? If he was 5'11", why in the hell would he need to wear lifts? Lifts are for short actors, 5'7" and under mostly, and 5'11" is not even close to being short. Olivia Wilde is 5'7", and her shoes in Tron were probably 4-5 inches, making her in between 5'11"-6'. Even then he's still noticeably taller than her. I'd say between 6'1"-6'2".

Hmmm, looked about an inch/inch and half shorter than Bruce Boxleitner in TRON. And since Rob has a picture of Bruce which shows he's 6'1/6'1.5 i think Garrett would be 6'0.5 barefoot.

He was outstanding in COUNTRY STRONG, and also in the TRON sequel. He hits 6'2" in shoes, but I don't think he's quite 6'2" barefoot. Jeff Bridges looked just a bit taller. 6'1" barefoot sounds right for GH.

Ofcourse Garrett Hedlund is tall, He's Swedish American. Minnesotans on average are probably taller & blonder than the rest of America who are full of English/Irish/Italian/Jewish mixedbreeds.

the photo may be of some use to you, guys, some of you claim that Beau Garrett is 5'10'' - i won't deny it 'cos i've got no idea how tall she is.
here's the photo of her and hedlund from the film 'tron', where she wears around 3-4'' heels.

As you can see, he is marginally shorter, no more than an inch of difference. Easy calculations give it for her to be 6'1 or 6'2 when in heels. I'd stick to 6'2.
Now, him being shorter by max an inch would give 6'1 for him, at least.
To conclude, Rob's estimation put at 6'1.25 would seem to be correct, more or less.

lazlo - olivia's heels do not make her a mere 2 inches taller... she is easily wearing VERY high heels and does very often. id say her heels were at least 4 inches. when i see her at events she usually wears 5+ inches

Don't forget, that Garrett has shoes too. So by your logic he is 6'2" in shoes. Hence barefoot he is 6'1"-6.1,25".

i met him he didnt realy claim 6 ft 2 i just asked are you 6 ft 2 he said yes he seemed about 2 in taller than me it is a shame i had a pic with him he looks only 0.75 in taller than me but he is taller than that he also said brad was 5 ft 11 and then a frend of his thats 5 ft 9.5 said like me he said no taller then i asked like me he said shorter so brad is over 5 ft 9.5 and under 5 ft 11.25

Sorry folks, I see 6'0.25"-.5". He's close to legit 6'1" Jeff Bridges' height but not quite as tall. All of the legitimate 6'2" people clearly have over an inch on him. Someone is delusional here.

Ok, people. I have seen Tron Legacy this afternoon and Garret don´t look 5,11 (1,80m). He is sure a strong 6,1 (about 1,85/86), Different is the case of Olivia. She´s supose 1,70 but it the movie she has large hell (about 10/12 cm, you can see MANY times) and is still mucho shorter than Garret so she must be 1,66/67.

sorry to beat this on over the head with a hammer, but more incontrovertible evidence that he is MAX 5'11 --I would not even rule 5'10 and a bit out frankly. Here is is, certainly slouching slightly and a bit back, but even if he was straight up and forward he would at BEST match 6 foot Bridges and he's only two inches tops bigger than Olivia Wilde who is probably at 5'9 with heels. Please downgrade to 5'11 just to be safe(might be a bit shorter!)

For people using T-Legacy as an example Bridges is barefoot in most of that movie, hence why Hedlund looks taller. In the scenes with Bridges in the suit they look about the same height, maybe Hedlunds a little taller. Still this guy is probably under 6' 2'', strong 6' 1'' tho
