LOL yeah sorry Rob.It was mainly a joke, but also a kind of experiment.I mean, you know as well as I do that Legend downgrades everyone on here; Brad Pitt is 5'9.5 max, Tom Cruise is 5'7 max and could be "much less" Arnold was 5'11, the list goes on.I wanted to see if I put 2 oe 3 ridiculous estimates under his name, if anyone would buy it.And most people did!So take that for what ya will.

Another thing to the 5'7 claims, I am a legit 5ft9.Granted, I drop to 8ft8.75in in the evenings, but I am a weak 5'9 nonetheless.Yet I have been referred to as 5'7. For example, my ex would talk **** about me, and refer to me as a "skinny 5'7 prick" though very much not true.A 5ft6.25in friend of mine also recently swore I wasn't 5'9 at any point in the day.I explained, he wears either timberlands or these thick Nike's, I wear converse, and he has great military posture, I have a constant slouch, but he didn't believe me.So I decided to prove my height by having us take multiple measurements(as suggested by our friends).We did a few measurements over a weekend(afternoon and evenings) and lo and behold, I measured 5ft8.5-5ft9.5, and he measured 5ft6-5ft7. My friend is in the Navy, and had previously been measured they're as 5ft6.25in, so he knew the measurements we're accurate.Ultimately, I was a little under 5'9 by the evening, and around 5'9.25 in our afternoon measurement, while he measured from a little over 5'6, to just under 5'7.Point is, this guy said before our measurements that I was, and I quote,"5ft7.75, MAX DUDE". Despite a few people saying I look 5'7-5'8, most people think I am 5ft10, and recently, an acquaintance who is 5ft11, 5'11.25in AT THE MOST who claims 6'1 swore I was "5'11, or damn close".My point is, people suck at guessing height, either because they aren't interested in it like we are, or because so many people exaggerate about it.So some people swear I'm 5'7, some honestly think I am 5'10.But it doesn't change the fact that I am 5ft9.Just like some people have said Nicholson was 5'7, even though he was usually listed as 5'10/5'11, doesn't change the fact that he is around 5ft9.That's the same height that I am, which is why I am stressing this point.You see, the 174-176cm height range is a tricky one, becuase you are a "weak average", meaning you are average height, but on the lower end.Thus, you can look short to some people, why others honestly think your a strong average.Just something to think about...

As Kaplan said Oliver Reed called him a 5'7'' balding midget and when Robert Mitchum was asked about his opinion of method actors Pacino, De Niro, and Nicholson, he replied "they are all small." I think 5.9.5 is correct. He was a couple inches taller than shelly duvall in the shining. He was definately wearing lifts in the movie, but Duvall was also on 3 inch heels, so it balances it out. If Duvall is 5.8, then he is 5.8 then he has to be from 5.9.5 to 5.10 in 1980. Lenad is sexy says on 27/Jan/11

I can end the debate as to how tall he was, although I don't know about now. I played in the group in front of him at Bel-Air CC in 2000, and passed by him shoulder to shoulder on the 10th bridge, just him and me. I am exactly 70" (5'10") tall without shoes. I met him last year at the New Jersey Hall of Fame ceremony and i am 5'7 and he was slightly taller than me. it was a black tie affair so that was in dress shoes so i would say he was 5'8 to 5'9. if someone can tell me if there is a way to post it i will upload the picture i took with him so you can check it out.
