Goldberg I think is probably 6'1. He looks taller than Randy Couture, even though Goldberg is pretty much hunched over all the time.

I'm pretty sure Randy is only about 6'0 1/2 anyway. When Chuck Liddell is next to Rogan, you can see Liddell barefoot is about 4 inches taller than Rogan (Rogan's head reaches a little over eye level for Liddell), which means he's definitely 6'1 1/2 or more.
Randy does have poor posture but he looks barely over 6' next to Rogan, assuming Rogan is nearly 5'10 in shoes.

I agree. I think he must be wearing huge shoes at UFC. Have also noticed he can look 5-10 to 5-11 during interviews. But even thou we can just see from shoulders up, it just doesn't look natural.

GSP (5'10.5) looks an inch taller barefoot than Joe Rogan in shoes...so either GSP is only 5'9.5 or Rogan is wearing 2 inch lifts making him 5'9.5.

Yea, men are better judges at height than women. The girl who was 5'10 and quoted she towered over him was probably 2-3 inches taller which she may have felt was towering putting him at 5'7-5'8 range.

I've had taller girls appear unsure if I am taller than them when I am clearly 2, 3, 4 inches uo on them. Some just have no clue so their judgements are inclusive and uncredited. Maybe its biology. Woman are hardwired to detect men who are significantly taller them: ie in finding a mate. They simply might not be able to judge 1-2-3 inches properly. Someone whos 1-2 inches taller than you might appear very similar in height to you. Photos or mirrors might be more eye opening. Men on the other hand might be more hardwired to judge height as a response to a potential advisary or competetor. Stature is much more important to men in gaining prominance and esteem where other features are more important to woman.

I've also noticed that the UFC is not consistent with its pre-match numbers. For example, Matt Hughes wingspan was claimed to be 74" when he fought Royce Gracie, and 76" when he fought GSP. At UFC 67 Matt Hughes suddenly dropped to a 68" wingspan (which sounds more accurate).
At UFC 64 Anderson Silva was claimed to be 6'2 pre-match, when he was clearly an inch shorter than 6'1 Rich Franklin. At UFC 67 Silva was incorrectly stated as 5'11 when it was clear he was about 1.5 inches taller than Travis Lutter (5'11). At the UFC website he is stated at 6 feet tall (he's probably around 6'0.5). I don't get how the UFC messes stuff up when they even have the correct numbers listed on their website. Joe Rogan is a fantastic UFC commentator and stands by tons of measured fighters, there can't be too much debate with this. I think he wears very big chunky boots when interviewing fighters and the fighters are barefoot. This alone accounts for Joe seeming to be 5'9.5" when interviewing post fight.

Well my friend is 4.5-5 inches taller than me and I consider that on the towering side as I have to look up at him more than a little. I have another friend who is 6'3 (6'4 according to himself but looks 6'3.5 tops to me) and I consider 3 inches a fair amount taller. 1-2 inches is a small amount and 1/2 inch is slight difference.

He is 5,7 or 5,7.5 no higher because Kevin Pereira on Attack of the show is 5,10 and there is an obvious height difference by at least 2 or 3 inches.

yea he's closer but his feet aren't much further from the rest. Still, i'd say not less than 5'8. FF contestants are 100% of the time atheltic and seem to be on the taller end

I've also recently seen a vid of Rogan and radio personality Alex Jones just hanging out in Hollywood. I've seen Jones speak onstage and he looks at least 5'11. Rogan like 2in shorter than him and he was in trainers while Jones was in dress shoes. I'd say 5'9

Viper, if you notice more than half the time the males are taller than him. Even some females are taller than him too. Up top some girl who is 5'10 said she towered over him too so 5'7 is likely but not under that though.

I met joe rogan at a popular strip club and I was sitting in a stool while he stopped right in front of me because there were no more seats and I stood up to shake his hand and he is exactly 5'7" because Im 5'6" , he was just barely taller than me, pretty cool guy.

BTW, he may look a little bit taller on the show then he really is because after doing some research I found that Fear Factor contestents, for healthy and/or safety reasons, can be not be heavier than 200lbs and/or no taller than 6'2" which cuts out any giants from being on the show. lol
Also, Joe Roe Rogan was listed at 175lbs in his fighting days, and is obviously heavier now. To look as big as he does you'd have to be about this short.

In UFC 52, standing next to two 5'9" men, he was at least an inch shorter. However, they're barefoot and he's wearing shoes - whether regular or otherwise, I'm not speculating. That would make him at most 5'7.

On fear factor which i just saw, he claimed he was 5 foot 8 and a half as he stood over this 4ft9 woman. I dont get why people lie about there heights!, lying about this stuff just draws more attention to it and making it seem more obvious they r not, if u get what i mean!?

I noticed on Fear Factor, they would do all kinds of funky camera angles to conceal his shortness. Definitely 5'7"-ish. He's a pretty buff short guy however which makes him seem taller.

I would take an inch off this height and say that he is not quite 5'8"; at best 5'7.5". However, he is built very strongly and he may appear to be taller. Perhaps to compensate for his lack of height, he has become a champion in the martial arts!
