Yea,after looking at him next to brian posehn there's no way he's 5'8.5...i'm 5'9.5, 5'10 on a good day and when I stand next to my 6'6, 6'7 friends + i'm usually a little bit closer to their lower and sometimes even upper lips. So he's below the jaw line, IN SHOES, no way he's 5'8.

I think that he thinks that he is 5'8", but he just so routinely looks short, and I'm not talking just an inch below average.

I watched the relaunch of Fear Factor the other night, and he was shorter than just about all the male contestants. In fact, he may have been shorter than all of them, and some of them were visibly below average.

joe and 5'11" dana white frequently appear together for pre-fight UFC pressers. i've seen a couple of such pressers with the two standing next to each other, and white towers above joe. no idea about their footwear, but as is, it looks close to a four-inch difference.

More like a weak 5'7. Hes pretty muscular. HGH will do that for ya. Won't make you taller though. Im a fan btw. Just not buying 5'8. He looks very small height wise, with short guy proportions to match.

hes probably from 5'6.5 from 5'7.5. he stands more like 5'8.5 5'9 in octagon. most ufc fighters are shorter than the height they are listed. for exemple, i saw spencer fisher in ufc rio (standing right next to me) and he was precisely like 5'5.5 - 5'6. he is listed at 5'7, and other "5'7" listed fighters are even shorter than him.

Ooooops, I was way off. For some reason I always thought he was like 6'0". Now I have looked back at him again properly, I can clearly see he's nowhere near 6'0" at all. I reckon he looks noticeably below average for a man. How on Earth did I see 6'0" for him before? I'm a bit of an idiot I guess. This listing seems about right to me. I think if he stood with Rob, he would be a little shorter. I don't see him being above 5'8" and certainly not the 5'8.5" he claims.

its hard to know on this guy, i always notice when he gets in the ring to give a post fight interview with someone in the octagon he can appear taller. obviously he has his shoes on and the fighters dont.
here he is with rashad evans, Click Here who is billed at 5-11 and if we assume this is correct (joe rogan is wearing shoes and rashad isnt) it doesnt appear that he is being listed too low here.
And here is one example of him looking like his 5-8.5 claim could be possible (depending on footwear) with 5-11 pat barry (barefoot)

@TRUTH height shapes what sports you'll most liketly excel at. Even Allen Iverson is very tall compared to the soccer players you list. Also try dominating tennis in 2011 at 5'6.5". In MMA you can shape you style to your height. Anderson Silva wouldn't fight the way he does without his super-long limbs & reach. Little dudes tend to be tougher cause they have to be --little man complexes --I used to have one but then I grew.
