No I don't really belive 198cm, possibly after a very good nights sleep in Tims youth he might have just touched 198cm but most of the time 196cm-197cm tops at his peak. It woulden't suprise me if he has lost 1cm or 2cm already since taller people shrink faster.

Well Big King realisticly I don't think he is 6ft7. He could possibly be claiming 6ft4.5 before bed late at night, or in the past Robbins could have measured at night time 195cm and just consider that 6ft4.5 hence why he claims 6ft4 1/2. I would upgrade him to at least 195cm and 196cm would be perfect.
I think since he is 50 he might have lost 1cm in height so here is what i think his height used to be in his youth.

Actually considering this guy is only 50 I think his peak height was 196-197cm and he has shrunk slightly to 195cm today. In glenns top pic as well part of Tims head is blanked a bit by the black background and almost looks like he is bending his neck ever so slightly as well. Yeah Tim Robbins made Martin Lawrence look like a little kid in Nothing to Loose, I mean Tim looked like a blooming giant in that movie, if I didn't know his height I would have thought 6ft7 in that movie. He towered John C Mcginely as well. Infact in a scene from the movie with Mcginely and Robbins, John squares up to big Tim and points a gun at his face and you can see just how much Mcginely has to look up at him. Are you serious? He is an ACTOR. Hence, he needs to get roles. When someone is TOO tall, they don't get as many roles. SO, they downplay their own height, as much as SHORTER actors upplay their heights, for the same reasons. I though this would be obvious. NO way was he only 6'4.5"-6'5" in his younger days. in my opinion pics with gonzalo below shows:
1. everyone knows philip noyce have a bad hunches bad standing posture so that makes him lose about 2cm and looks 192ish, but pic of tim beside noyce makes tim a 198ish unless noyce stand straight up to gain back his 194cm height so tim robbins is at least 196cm tall instead of 194cm..
2.188clive owen stands abit lean down and looks slightly taller than tim robbins eye brown,makes tim looks 197cm tall..
3. 6ft3 will ferrell looks 4cm shorter than tim robbins while ferell stand a good posture but fro tim not so good one.. to say that if tim straight up a pose, he were looks 197cm tall, but the fact for ferell is his under 190cm barefoot he is 189ish and so (189 + 6 = 195cm) thats tim robbins height..

After seeing him before and rethinking about it, based on the fact that I work with a 6'6" guy who looks about the same to me as Tim did from a distance. The thing is at 6'1.75" by mid-day. I had to draw comparisons as I thought 6'6" would completely tower over me in the past, but it doesn't quite. Another way to judge his height is by looking where his mouth comes at the top of glenns head, saying glenn in the bottom photo is 175cm tall or so (do you remember your shoes glenn?). Im 6'4" and in normal dress shoes (an inch or so), my mouth comes to about 173cm, so judging that our heads are about the same size, it says robbins is around 195cm, which is very belivable. But for instance, Vincent D'onofrio is a big dude (almost 6'4") but in the pic with Gleen, he looks much shorter than that (give a look), now confront the pic of Vincent with the 1st pic of Pete Steele... The difference between D'onofrio and Stelle isn't that much, 2.5 inches (+- 6.5 cm) max..
