Maybe if he was measured with a short pen or a rock he's 6'4.5", but that's not reliable. The only way you'll truly find out how tall you are is under the scale at the doctors office or a wall

If you're a legit 6'4.5" who holds good posture and tend to wear shoes in the 1.25"+ range (large side of normal), you're going to look 6'6" sometimes, especially next to people who lie about their own height. The New One says on 5/Nov/11

Unsure about Robbins,s height. The truth is that i thought he looked closer to 6ft6 range in his prime, maybe 6ft5-6ft5.5 barefoot, but i dunno in some recent pics with Morgan Freeman, who is still a legit 6ft2 guy (in my opinion)he only looks about 2 inches taller which would put him in 6ft4 range! if you look at someone who is ~6'7 like stephen merchant on screen or in photos there is no way robbins looked that tall e.g. not even close to standing straight Click Here its interesting merchant has no problem saying he is 6'7 on every talk show he is on despite the fact he is trying to break into hollywood, robbins was well established by 1995 as a director and an actor winning numerous awards for both, he was well known worldwide by that time as a terrific actor who could play a variety of roles so whether he was 9ft or 4ft it wouldn't have made much difference,coming out and saying his real height was 6'7 at that time wouldn't have made any difference or reduce his chances of roles, its an awful pity i didn't get to meet him last year during the arthurs day guinness celebration as something else came up, looking at youtube he was taking photos after the show too :(

To measure a legit barefoot 195cm barefoot relaxed evening height though is borderline giant. IN the morning with shoes you probably look 6'6" to 6'7" if you measured that after a long day.

190-195cm and 195-199cm is all synonamous with the same label of 'very tall'. 200cm is the start of a giant. I woulden't say that 195cm barefoot relaxed evening height is 'borderline giant' its more at the mid range of very tall like 185cm is at the mid range of the tall range. i think 198cm barefoot relaxed in the evening is upper end of very tall/borderline giant. i'd describe 197cm-200cm to be more at the upper end of very tall since i don't think 'extremely tall' in a medical aspect really should be used.
Peter Crouch for example who stands at 6'7.5 (201cm) i would described as a giant. Tim Robbins I would described as solid/legit very tall not a giant though. Guys like Penn Jillete and James Cromwell were borderline giant men at there peaks.

Well, it gives the clearance that Robbins stands 195cm or 6'4 3/4" the most time of the day. On the one hand he is listed as 6'4 1/2" and on the other hand as 6'5". You see Tim Robbins is a perfect expample of how tall a genuine strong 6'4 guy is and it is clear in pics how short he makes actors who 'claim' to be a certain height are. Tim Robbins is genuine about his height and Clint Eastwood in the early 200's tried to claim 6'4 which is absurd when you look at pics of him with robbins from 2005 becasuse tim is clearly 3.5 inches taller. Guys like Liam Neeson and Jeff Goldblum as well are honest 6'4ers but they do not look as tall as tim becasue of not great posture which is why they can look 6'3. Like I said Tim is one of those rare strong 6'4.5ers who maintains great posture which is why people on this site think he is much taller than 6'4 because really people have no clue about how big and impressive a strong 6'4 guy can look with the right body proportions and posture. Granted Neeson and Goldblum were slightly over 6'4 in thier primes there poor posture always made them look shorter.
