I doubt he`d say he was 6 ft if he was taller, on the pics he might be wearing insole lifts, I know someone who seems to have got suspiciously taller, yet is past the age for growing.

How did u work that out. To be 6ft1 you have to be atleast 185.42cm, so to make life easier let's say 6ft1 is 185.5cm. So 185cm can be seen as a weak 6ft1(even though ur half a cm below the mark). Therefore 184.5cm will be 6ft0.5 or could be described as a solid 6ft that's all, not a weak 6ft1, that's would be stupid.

I saw the Prestige last night and i thought bale looked like maybe 5'10 in that film........ he is also a few inches shorter than Ashton Kutcher who demeyer met and said he did not look over 6'2 to him.
Maybe its bale's body type that makes him look smaller than he actually is. i can't belive he was given 6'2 in the past as well.

Eckhart seems to be 5ft10, Bale is indeed 6ft. He is taller than Maggie even when she's packed. Either that, or Bale used lifts for that event and I find that hard to believe. Yeah, I don't see a 3 inch difference between Freeman and Bale, especially in Johno's second photo. 2 inches is easier to buy. Also, there's no photo from that "3:10 to Yuma" event where the difference between Bale and Crowe appears to be less than 1.5 inches.

As a sidenote, i find it ironic that guys like christian bale and leonardo dicaprio are always estimated between 5'11-6'0, with the naysayers speculating a height of 5'11 minimum and the discussion of 5'10, 5'9 doesn't even come up and guys like wahlberg get hit hard, with height estimations as low as 5'6, and debates that he is between 5'7-5'9, no mention of 5'10 what so ever when he is clearly only 2-2.5 inches shorter then bale and 1.5 inch shorter then dicaprio. Thats why i believe guys like bale give a taller then reality height impression and guys like wahlberg with stumpy limbs never get estimated higher then actual heights.

As a sidenote, i find it ironic that guys like christian bale and leonardo dicaprio are always estimated between 5'11-6'0, with the naysayers speculating a height of 5'11 minimum and the discussion of 5'10, 5'9 doesn't even come up and guys like wahlberg get hit hard, with height estimations as low as 5'6, and debates that he is between 5'7-5'9, no mention of 5'10 what so ever when he is clearly only 2-2.5 inches shorter then bale and 1.5 inch shorter then dicaprio. Thats why i believe guys like bale give a taller then reality height impression and guys like wahlberg with stumpy limbs never get estimated higher then actual heights.

Saw The Fighter and it's funny, you'd never guess a 4 inch difference between Wahlberg and Bale for most of the movie (maybe a weak inch!). Bale's dodgy posture doesn't help. But when they get on an even surface like in the boxing arena scenes, the height difference becomes much more apparent.

Well I think recently Caine has shrunk to 185cm. When that photo was taken in 2006 Caine might have still been 186cm hence there being about 3cm between him and Bale. But judging by that pic I woulden't go over 6ft for Bale.

Take a look at the scene between christian bale and Morgan Freeman when they are in Hong Kong and Bale's taking some photographs.Bale looks definitely 8cm shorter than Morgan Freeman. On this pic, they are both on the ice. CB is a little bit closer to the camera and neeson is not standing straight. a little bit about the german height debate,they're definitely not the tallest in Europe;height distribution in germany is more or less like the height distribution in the US.you have quite a few tall people,but there are a lot of shorter ones around too.i was in germany for 3 weeks and noticed that.similarly,my tour also included austria and sweden,and the swedes were definitely the tallest. I could be wrong statistically as I've not checked up on that,but the swedes seemed to be the tallest,with a lot of people being taller than me (im 5'10.5).i was in austria only for 5 days and don't seem to have too much of a memory of them,but in a marketplace they seemed to be similar to the germans.the germans though,seemed to be most well fed,and were quite broad and had the biggest frames out of the three.i saw a lot of fat people in germany,and a lot of well built ones too,especially unlike austria.
