If David Letterman, per the pictures below, is that close in hieght to Alan, then Alan is either 5'11" or Letterman shorter than the 6'1" to 6'3" we hear. Given his likely 6'2" height, compared to the Dolph picture with Alan, Dolph clearly is about 6'4" or a little more. So the 6'4.25" measurement is close.

194cm peak down to 191.5 cm now then. But he's lost a full inch and he's still in his early 50s, that's not good. Funny how legit 6'4" health nuts like Dolph and Clint began losing height in their early 50s! Perhaps their over exercise and lifting of weights did some real damage.

Actually Rambo, Dolph did claim 6'6" once in 1985. It was an interview with Dolph himself, not about his character. I posted it here a while ago.
The Drago character was supposed to be 6'4" and 261 pounds, iirc. I read Dolph was really 248 during that movie, though. But I agree with 6'4" peak for him.

I find it hard to believe that he would have shrunken significantly, at least if we're talking the spine. The reason is because his "extra inches" come from his long legs, which in turn means that he has a relatively short torso. If he would have had a long torso, I would find his spine shrinking significantly more logical.

5 cm loss doesn't make sense. I agree he was 1.95m at his peak and could have shrunk to 1.93m by now. Maybe when he is 65 years old he could be 1.90m or even less, but not yet.

Yeah but his body changed a lot since then, I mean he reached 245 pounds. It is possible he grew another inch. I think a legit 6'4.5" barefoot peak is accurate. 194cm is fine, I'm not going to quabble about 0.25 of an inch. I would say 194-195. Weak 6'5" strong 6'4". He could pull off looking 6'6" in boots as you can see in watching Joshua Tree so barefoot 6'4.5" is fine.,

His muscular body gives you illusion of being taller. But in fact he was same height all this years, drop to 6'3 now. He was also very noticable shorter than 6'7.5 Magic Johnson.

Editor Rob patrick in 2010 I saw a few times up close and really did look 5ft 8, not above, Ithink stewart has lost some height since the early 90's though.

Editor Rob from that picture if he was 5ft 10.5 then he doesn't appear less than 6ft 5, but then there's a few things that can add or take away height in street shots like pavement and unknown footwear.

In my view that looks like an easy 6 ft 5 inch guy given that Brandon was a weak 6 foot. Maybe pavement advantage but if he wasn't really 6'5" in his prime then he was very close to it barefoot I'd say.

Never seen Dolph in cowboy boots but I've seen him quite a lot in Timberland type trucker boots like in Joshua Tree and by no means is 6'62 too high for him in those type boots in his peak. He looked 6 ft 6 in them and i think they give about 1.5 inches, mine do. I think Six four and half peak is right.

yeah shaun i agree 6'4 is massive. if your a legit 6ft like 183cm as well you will look tall but not massive. At 6'2 you will not look massive either and at 6'3 that is when you may start to look massive but more 6'4 is when you will look mega tall.
