I think most non obsessed about height people see 5'11 to 6'2 as the same range. So he could probably get away with 6'1. It's like people who say they're 5'9 when they're 5'7, they get away with it because it's in the same range. Personally I've had people try and say I'm 5'9 when I'm 6'- 6'1 it sucks. I also used to be taller than people but people would still say they were taller than me even when the supposedly taller person said themselves that I'm taller in front of them. That's why I'm so insecure it sucks...

Do you think you could go through some pics of this guy? It seems to a lot of us that he's a flat 5'11". I think if stood straight up against Jimmy Fallon, for instance, that he'd come out slightly shorter. He really just looks 5'11" most of the time.

I am 6 feet tall, and he was definitely shorter than me at around 5'10, when we stood next to me. Now, I saw him at the El Capitan a few days ago, again he stood next to me. This time he towered over me at about 6'3 or 6'4. He was wearing boots with a big heel and the way his pant leg hung, he definitely looked like he was wearing lifts too!!!!

Absolutely no way he's 6'...David Hasselhoff was just on his show and they were standing side by side looking at the camera and Kimmel was at David's nose level. Hasselhoff is a true 6'4" (I met him in 1986 at a Toys R Us opening. Kimmel can't be more than 5'10" max.

The 5'11-6'1 range can be tough to tell from on TV but I'd say Kimmel is 6'0 give or take 1/2 inch.

There is a video on Youtube where Trey Parker and Matt Stone are guests on his show. If you watch carefully, 6 foot Trey is noticeably taller when they shake hands at the beginning. Trey probably has him by at least half an inch. I would give Kimmel 182cm, but no more imo.

i work at an int'l airport as a customs officer. i meet a lot of celebrities when they come to town and had the chance to meet Jimmy Kimmel about 2 years ago at the airport - it was very quick but i was standing eye to eye with him for a couple of minutes...really nice guy, we spoke for a couple of minutes, shook hands and he was on his way...i can assure you, he is not/not 6'0'" tall. I am 5'10 (with shoes), he was wearing sneakers and he was about the same height as me. At best, 5'10 and a half but no way he's more than that.

Its called almost all celebrities under 6' wear them on those shows. for instance on leno stallone will be about the same height as Jay and tom Cruise will not be that much shorter.
