Editor Rob on a bad day he may well not measure much over 5ft 11, but I think he would generally manage to creep over 5ft 11 for most measurements, even at 10am he may well be 5ft 11.5 range.

I really can't see anything below a solid 5'10" for Crowe, and 179 seems likely. I think he claims his height in shoes, so he'd be 5'10.25" at worst and never drops below 5'10". Leo did look shorter than 182 cm Christian Bale did with Crowe, though so somewhere around 5'11" seems right.

I know a guy who I believe is right around Leo's height (181 cm, 5'11.5 max) and he claims 6'1 lol. He's kind of a funny case though as sometimes he wears bigger than average footwear but he often hunches his shoulders so he can sometimes appear a bit shorter (talking about the guy I know).

It is true, he does give a upper average height impression in most of his movies, and he looks tallish compared to most of his actor coworkers as well. It's a trait of someone who is actually close to 6 feet in my opinion.

I guess I can see why some people think of him as shorter at times. I even know of some people who have seen films of his and thought he was around 5'10.
But when you actually look at eye level, which has proven to be highly trustworthy, there's no way this guy is anything under 180 cm.

According to photographic evidence, I was exactly the same height as my older brother, 175cm or 5'9, when I was 17 years and 8 months old. I grew to be 181cm or 5'11.25 by the time I was 19. Growing 3 inches between 17-20 seems plausible to me.

I am not so sure Brad Pitt went through the same process though. I am not so sure Brad Pitt went through the same process though. First of all, he looked like a normal guy, going through regular puberty and looked mature and developed enough; nothing like Dicaprio and Ralph Macchio and secondly; any material growth beyond the usual years looks to be rare. I am not prepared to give Pitt that verdict of confidence.

Well thats your opinion, in my case Im 20 right know and im almost 6ft4 (6ft3.5-75 at night) In 3 months I will be 21. And I was a late bloomer at 14 I was pretty short, but then I started to sprout up. Also at 18-19 I was 6ft2.75, so I grew almost an inch after that age. The majority of men stop around 18 but there is a small percentage that grow till 21-22 look at Ralph Macchio!

This listing is a great middle point and honestly out of all the heights Leo looks, the average does come out somewhere pretty close to 181 cm. I think this listing is accurate. Though he has a bad posture that at times he looks more like 179-178cm. But if he stands straight and keeps his good posture he definitely is 181cm. Very accurate listing in my opinion.
