Charlie, you can guage his height very accurately? So you go up to him with a tape measure? Bet if you guessed your friends heights you'd get them wrong too. He's a good 2 inches taller. I probably pass you whilst walking dogs. I'll get you some non-deluded glasses...or better still take a picture with him, you'll be surprised at the result.

Jude Law lives in my area, I see him very often with his kids, walking the dog, and standing in line at the local supermarket. The man is my height, 5'8.5. No taller. He dresses very casually and always wears trainers or converse when out and about so I can gauge very accurately his barefoot height. 5'8.5 like me, unfortunately that is where the similarity ends. You cannot go by a movie to guess a person's height. The camera angles can make him appear taller. I just don't understand why the big discussion. If he said he is 5'9 why would he make that up? It's only an average man's height hardly anything to boast about. James says on 5/Feb/10
Rob do you think Jude Law might wear lifts in public to make him taller? It does seem that a lot of people see this guy as being small and a 5'11 guy esspecially if he is skinny like Jude can appear tall.
Here he looks 6ft though so he must be wearing the biggest lifts on the market if he looks so tiny in person.

i saw him in 'lester' square in london at a red carpet event - that guy is tiny!...i could not believe it cuz u kno how films deceive, but this was remarkable...he can't be more than 5'9" and a bit...i am at least that...

Anonymous I have mentioned this before that my uncle met him in 2008 and from my uncles 5ft8 perspective he descirbed him as a "A little fella".

If you look at recent photos of him w/ Robert Downey Jr. you can see that he is only a little taller than Robert. Rob, why do you keep Jude Law at 5'11 even if he said himself that he is 5'9 ?
In my opinion zone between 5'8 to 5'11 is the hardest to figure out ( many examples on this site, from Matt Damon, George Clooney, Brad Pitt to Johnatan Rhys Meyers and Chace Crawford) and you can always find contradictive arguments for their estimations because it is really hard to pinpoint their accurate height.
But in this case Jude Law admitted himself, what's his real height, so why not 5'9 for him ? hohum says on 1/Nov/09
