Those photographs posted by that "Anonymous" on sep 1th are deceiving, obviously Craig had some shoe advantage and Schreiber wasn't standing in the best posture. I just watched the movie "Defiance" and noticed a difference of 12 cm between them, and could be even more than that. Now, how tall is Craig? No less than 1.78m (as listed here) for sure. Don Vik, Sabretooth's official height according to the official Marvel guide is 6'6. Tyler Mane is indeed 6'8, so he's a little taller than the comic Sabretooth, and quite a bit taller than Liev Schreiber. Don Vik says on 8/Dec/09
I think in the comics Sabretooth might have been around 6'8" and so the guy who played the role in the first X-men movie was around that but it is not to say that Liev did a terrible job potraying Sabretooth(in fact he was great in the role). Moke says on 1/Dec/09

He was taller than Samuel Jackson in Sphere and I believe that Sam is 6'2".

Liev Schreiber squeezed right by me in a packed bar in NYC. I'm just over 5'9" (176cm). I'd be surprised if he were anything over 6'1" (186). This height sounds pretty accurate. My 6'3" brother claims he saw Liev on that street and said he was 6' feet even max., but I take that with a grain of salt. I saw Liev in a play where he was slightly taller than 6'2"ish actors like Alan Alda, Jeffrey Tambor, and Fred Weller. 6'2 1/2"-6'3" I would say. |
