He looks shorter than 5'9" to me. He NEVER looks anything close to 5'10". Are you kidding me? 5'8.5" tops for this guy. Most likely 5'8". Leaning my ass. His lean does not rob him of any height. If a person is exhaling in a photo, you people think it makes him shorter. Honestly, going by the top of the head and ignoring eye level (unlike everybody here who lacks common sense), I'd say that Rob is marginally taller. He looks taller to me apart from this pic as well. Last WE I saw him at San Diego CC along with the cast of Heroes. i only made it in time for the panel.
Was anyone there with me? did you notice the actors footwear?
They didn't stand for long but this is what looked to me:
Milo Ventimiglia was 4/5 cm shorter than Pasdar, Knepper and Ray Park.
Pasdar was a little shorter than both Knepper and Park.
Knepper was a hair shorter than Park.
Now, provided i'm quite sure Park was wearing sneakers, my take is that Park and Pasdar are about the same height (pasdar must have been wearin thinner footwear, but they both didn't look under 1.78) and that Knepper had the biggest footwear advantage of them all.
In the episodes footage they were showing, he was about the same height as Park, except that he had heels, while Park had flat shoes.

looks to me he lost some height i dont care what you think that's my opinion and it stems from the fact that in his prime movies he never looked to me below 176-177cm now he seem to vary a lot compared ot the early ages.
my opinion like it or not, Robert is 174-175cm now, 176-177cm early days.
people lose height at any age but since Robert is 49 he mightve lost 1cm or so, some people age to 70 and dont lose any some at 35 lose an inch so dont be too sure LEONARI.

he's quite slim as a body giving a taller appearence but to be fair in his prime he did look as tall as 177cm but now he's barely 175cm and that's ok considering his age.

Great shot, Rob! Robert looks close the same height as you here, maybe *potentially* a little taller. So 5'9" could be right. His head looks rather large, too.

that's about right I think , just watch S01E16, at the hollander house; on the american most wanted show you see a policephotograph of him.
