5'9"-5'10" is just as far fetched as 5'5"-5'6" is. 171-172 CM really seems to be the range of debate for this guy. If he were 5'10", then he would be as tall as a guy like Scott Adkins. In reality, however, Scott would have 2"-2 1/2" inches on this guy.

I think you still have a younger Bieber in your head when making that estimate because I haven't seen him look anywhere near that short in some time now. Much less under 5'6". If I had to guess who was taller between Bieber and Cruise, I'd guess Bieber because while Cruise can give a taller impression at times, he has perfect posture and often wears thick boots and/or elevator shoes so he can look 5'8.5", possibly even pulling off 5'9" on occasion, but Bieber can look 5'8" at times to me and doesn't seem to wear the footwear Cruise does anymore and doesn't have as good posture as Cruise. I'd guess Tom at 5'7.5" and Bieber at perhaps a 1/4" taller.

This is one of the few pages on here where almost no one provides pics to back up their claims. I would do it, to prove that he is much shorter than listed here, but it would be a waste of time. Imo, he's under 5'7".

@Slim: I think anything from 5'7.5" minimum to 5'8" max is possible, but he is looking a little taller to me most recently and I'm not seeing any real signs of lifts these days, or at least in most instances. The problem is, I'm not really familiar with a lot of the people he's pictured with so I can only use Rob's estimates as references, but if DJ Khaled is 5'6.5" barefoot then he's going to be at least 5'7.5" in sneakers and Bieber in bare feet could look taller to me. Though Seacrest could still look taller a little over 2 years ago, so he must have grown a bit unusually late. But Corden at 5'8" does seem like he'd be taller both in bare feet so I would say 172 is most likely.

Bieber did look taller in dress shoes, but as you say, how much taller is impossible to say since we can't actually compare the top of their heads. Anyway, I think Bieber is a good 172 cm, possibly even the full 5'8" while Corden is 173 range, sometimes he looks a flat 5'8" and other times a solid 5'8" so he has to be 5'8"-5'8.25", imo.

Not surprisingly, you see a photo from a similar angle with a seemingly opposite result: Click Here I'm certain there's less than an inch height difference between the 2 so fluctuations like that are not surprising to me. In fact, one of the reasons I erred years ago in thinking Sly was a legit 5'10" was assuming someone was standing the height they looked in a photo if I could see no obvious flaw in it, like this oddly similar photo of Stallone and 6'1" Tom Arnold: Click Here Now seeing as how Arnold had about 1" type sneakers and would stand 6'2" in it, or near it even if he had lost a fraction before age 50 and Sly appeared in maybe 2.5"-2.7" max footwear including lifts, now estimating Sly at 5'8.75"-5'9" peak and seeing he could pass for a more logical 5'10.5"-5'11" in that footwear in legit videos and series of wide shots, it's obvious it's the 2 men couldn't have measured up to each other the way this picture suggests they did as that would put him over 6'2" in shoes.
For my estimates of both, I believe Sly is down probably half an inch from his peak, imo, so I think about 5'8.25", maybe 5'8.5" now. For Bieber, I'll reiterate my June 29th estimate for the most part and say 5'8" is a fair guess, but my best guess for now is still 172 cm as 5'7.5"-5'8" seems to be his arguable range. He doesn't look short proportionately to me anymore.
