John is a legit 6'3". I'm 6'4" and he walked right by me after his set at ACL in 2007 where I was working backstage. He was barely shorter than me. I was surprised at how tall he was as I usually tower people. He's a tall guy as well. Hell of a guitarist too.

I've met him, he is 189-190 cm, I'm 6'3.75 which is equivalent to 192.5 cm, but I think he gives me a look of being an inch shorter than me at maximum, its hair I which makes him come across as 191,hair can really fool people with their heights,thats why many sites also claim that he's 6'4,but I think he is 6'2.5-6'2.75 or 189-190.
He's not 191 cm, I can say that because I'm closer to his height and I make it out.Many 5'10 ers or 6 footers will easily believe he's 6'3 because of the angle which are eyes set to see a thing higher than us.
I've met him, he is 189-190 cm, I'm 6'3.75 which is equivalent to 192.5 cm, but I think he gives me a look of being an inch shorter than me at maximum, its hair I which makes him come across as 191,hair can really fool people with their heights,thats why many sites also claim that he's 6'4,but I think he is 6'2.5-6'2.75 or 189-190.
He's not 191 cm, I can say that because I'm closer to his height and I make it out.Many 5'10 ers or 6 footers will easily believe he's 6'3 because of the angle which are eyes set to see a thing higher than us.

Rob what's your opinion on the boots? I'm not sure they're lifts Bob, I think it's just the design of the boots which are high and make it look like he's wearing big lifts. For sure though that sort of design boot would be the type to have a 3 inch lift or something in them though.

I was cutting some particle board to use on my kitchen renovation last week and I needed a piece that was exactly 6'3" long. I didn't have a tape measure handy so I just grabbed John Mayer and
got him to lay down while I marked my next cut.
Turns out the piece fits perfectly, so I can confirm his height is 6'3" as shown on here.

With tennis players I know for certain that they don't lie about their height, it would be stupid to since they're always standing next to each other wearing the same sneakers and getting photographed. Nice photo of John with Tiger. It's pretty weird that Tiger (who I think is 6ft or 6ft1) according to this site looks the same height as John in that picture. There was a period were John was wearing converses on tour which don't give much height at all (probably half an inch, maybe a little more) compared to the dress shoes that Tiger was probably wearing which we know can give an inch to an inch and a half. Nice photo of John with Tiger. It's pretty weird that Tiger (who I think is 6ft or 6ft1) according to this site looks the same height as John in that picture. There was a period were John was wearing converses on tour which don't give much height at all (probably half an inch, maybe a little more) compared to the dress shoes that Tiger was probably wearing which we know can give an inch to an inch and a half. If Glenn says he is 6ft 3 then he probably is why on earth would he lie! Photos give and indication that is all. I would say 6'3" is about right, but I wouldn't be surprised if he was 6.3.5". You guys have to factor in his thin shoes and posture and he still looks quite big. Nice guy.

Oh f8*** that, I am around his height and it is annoying how many people come up to you and say dumb crap. Seriously I am tempted to say things like that but instead I just either ignore them or make sarcastic quips. If you had people constantly comment on your height you would get it. So walk in his shoes for a minute and maybe you might understand before you judge.
