Whatever he looks, he HAS to be 194 cm since Guinness World Book of Records lists him at that. If he looks 195-196 cm next to others, that means he either has thicker shoes or they are shorter than what they're listed at. Something has to give in that photo. The tip of kevin james is parrallel with the bottom of vaughns lip, and vaugh is also smiling therefore his lip crunched up, upwards. Thus the tip of james head would definently being parrallel with vaughns mouth meaning vaughn has a solid 8 or maybe 8.5 inches on james. Making vaughn 6'4 - 6'4.5 in that picture compared to the 5'8 james.
Now, the funny thing is, james is also a solid 2 inches shorter then adam sandler, could be 2.5.

Adam sandler is 5'10 on this site but alot of commentators believe he is more 5'9, 5'9.5 with some saying 5'8.5, either way james definently struggles to look 5'8 with adam in every pose. Truth be told, adam is more a 5'9 - 5'9.5 making kevin james 5'7 - 5'7.5 max.

I too saw him last night, at the Broken Spoke. Like the first commenter, did not notice who he was but noticed how tall he was. Had to duck to miss the back ceiling. Quick research shows that Brady was actually listed at 6'5" at Michigan, and was measured at the 2000 NFL Combine at what is called "6043," which I interpret as 6'4" and 3/12ths (i.e., 6'4" and 1/4). Of course, this means that Peyton Manning definitely underestimates his height, as has been suspected, since he is clearly about two inches taller than Brady. Might Vaughn be even taller than his listed 6'5"? The pic posted sure suggests as much, as does my buddy's sighting. As Matt points out, if Vaughn stood straight, he would have had 2 inches over Brady in that pic. No doubt. That Brady, based upon available information, appears to be a legit 6'4" (at least), I actually think Vaughn might be 6'6." He can't be under 6'5." Sure, he might "look" 6'4.5" in some isolated pictures, but it's not hard for Hollywood to manipulate the heights of actors just a bit.

Anecdotal evidence here. You can make what you want of it. No pictures, no evidence. A buddy of mine, who is about 6'0-6'1", saw Vaughn last night at the Speakeasy in Austin. Called me up to tell me tht the guy was "huge." The first thing he noticed was not that it was Vaughn, but that the guy was really tall. And big too. He said he was the only guy who had to duck to get through some sort of doorway he was describing. Said he was on the dance floor and absolutely towering overy everybody. He estimated him to be 6'7." I told him that he was listed at 6'5," to which he said "no way." I'm not saying he's 6'7", but it's another piece of anecdotal evidence as to why I DO NOT buy anything under 6'5." A sighting like this, from someone I know, makes me pause before giving too much weight to particular pictures, particularly ones from movies. For all I know, they are constantly "doing things" to make the Owen Wilsons of the world look taller so as to avoid glaring differences. Yeah he often doesn't look 6'5" on screen but I suspect that has a lot to do with camera angles to purposefully make him look shorter.
