Today he might be near 6ft 3 flat.

That's pretty childish of Eastwood if I may say so...it's not like he was gonna be dwarfed by Neeson

Slightly over 6-4 peak imo. Clint peak 6-3.5 imo.

Today I watched Liam’s film The Grey - twice. The first time I covered my eyes during many of the scenes but the second time, I saw it through. I can watch most horror films, but this was worse.

Now I feel emotionally ripped apart.

This was one of the most tragic films I’ve ever seen. It centred round a plane crash, and if that isn’t bad enough, the survivors are left to the anger of a large pack of territorial wolves, hellbent on wiping them out.

One sees so many different relationships build throughout the film, as we get to know the members of the cast and how they bond. I cried during many of the scenes, and I’d be surprised to meet anyone who doesn’t feel likewise.

This is a drama rather than a horror, but the safety of my home is going to be all the more attractive after viewing this movie.

Liam excelled himself, and the only film of his that I can say left a greater impression on me is Schindler’s List. That film, however, had a positive ending whereas this does not. It has a tragic one.

The cast is tall, and Liam is by no means the tallest. In fact, he looks only average, or slightly above that mark. I couldn’t see any short fellows in the production, but it was so eventful that it would have been easy to miss ‘details’ such as that.

6ft4 for Liam’s peak and only half-an-inch shorter for today.

Arch-Maybe its because 6ft4 guys are used to always being taller than others.

I once read a comment on this site from a 6ft7 guy how he didnt like it when he came across a man taller than himself.
Editor Rob
Even Michael Crichton once left a party pissed off that somebody taller was in the room!

Always baffles me why a 6 ft 4 man or near 6 ft 4 man would ever give a rat's ass if he looks shorter than somebody. Why would Neeson care if Eastwood had advantage?? Eastwood would be the last person I would have thought would care if he looked shorter than Neeson. If that was true they'd have avoided the scene in which they walk side by side.

Eastwood nearly 6ft3 in 94 more like
Leone_Fan said on 10/Apr/23
Just read an interview from 1994 where Neeson mentions that when he filmed the Dead Pool the star Clint Eastwood stood on a slope in their scenes together. This was so he could appear taller than Neeson, who was annoyed by this. The article mentions they were more or less the same height in reality at about 6'4''. Looking at the Dead Pool its hard to make comparisons but in the scene where they walk together Neeson looks taller by an inch or more. Of course Neeson was younger and in his prime whereas Clint was middle aged. I think that Neeson would have been slightly taller than Eastwood if you compare them in their youth.
Editor Rob
Here is a link to the article.

Interesting that the journalist also called Eastwood nearly 6ft 4 back in 94.

Hi Rob, this is an interview from 2004 with Conan

They compare heights, Liam is clearly taller, and Conan assumes he is 6'5. Liam Neeson says '6'4 and a wee bit'.

I think he is honest about his height. I would give him exactly what he claims peak 6'4.5.
Editor Rob
Neeson could be in the same category as Jeff Goldblum, measuring a little over 6ft 4

He didn’t claim 6’4 1/2”. He claimed 6’4 and a wee bit. The wee bit is likely before lunchtime. Rob has him listed close to what he would measure at lunch or afternoon but I’d lean more toward this being a low for him. He didn’t look below it in his prime. Conan was always a bit under 6’4”. Maybe 6’3.5-.75 range at most
Jtm said on 8/Apr/23
maybe the 6'4 and wee bit claim was when he was in his 30s and 40s. he looked shorter than john lithgow at the kinsley premiere and this was around the same time as conan. i would say that lithgow's height here is underrated and Conan is simply no more than a legit 6'3 guy.

Is there a chance Neeson could have always been barely even 193 cm (more like 192.8)? Could his small head and long proportions make him look taller than he would actually measure?
Canson said on 11/Mar/23
@Rampage: I agree especially if that’s their lunchtime listings. Both should get 6’4 1/8”. I doubt either guy dipped below 6’4” peak but if one did seagal would be the one
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 9/Mar/23
Canson, I can see a case for it but I’d top it there. Goldblum was that mark minimum to to 6ft4½. There’s no photos of them together over the years. Both lanky dudes that dwarfed everyone. Jeff I’d still give the edge to overall. Ludicrous that Seagal has an eighth peak listing. No way Liam was shorter than him peak
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 5/Feb/23
Goldblum had a better chance than Neeson at a hitting full 194cm most likely…no photos of them together but they both appeared onscreen with Jim Carrey in the late 80’s, Neeson in Dead Pool and Goldblum on Earth Girls Are Easy. Jeff looked like he had a little more on Jim than Neeson

Goldblum could often look nearer 6 ft 5 in his films and could look a bit taller than Seagal or Neeson but I thought they could all look over 6'4. All of those certainly gave a taller impression than your "6'4" Clint Eastwood and John Wayne. 6'4 1/4 is very believable for Neeson peak.

Liam Neeson, as Oskar Schindler, says this to Ralph Fiennes’ Amon Goeth. He actually learns from it, saying it to himself in front of the mirror.

with worst possible posture he did look 193-193,5 peak. i really think 193,5 peak but he have lost alot of height. its not really only a fraction. He looks mutch shorter these days. And he have always had a little bit of a hunch in the back. The last 2 years he struggling to look 6´3, he can really look about 189 in the new movies but on average 190, but if measured maybe still 191 but not a mm over that. I think 6´3 flat could be best listing. he have lost just over 1 inch at age 70. I guess thats about average? 3 cm, maybe little more than average.

My Mum was born 100 years ago today. She had me at 38, which isn’t unusual nowadays, but it was back then. You never stop missing your parents, each and every day.

Peak for Liam - 6ft4; today - 6ft3.25.

They are very close, both you could argue as strong 6ft 4 guys
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 11/Sep/22
Rubbish posture makes neeson look barely 6ft3.

Him and Goldblum have always had that tall guy stoop. On the other hand, Hoff maintains much better posture hence why he still looks 6ft4! Remember they’re all the exact same age. Seagal also has bad posture and his humongous weight gain over the years
Most Legit 6'3 said on 13/Aug/22
When my 6’2 dad met him in 1998, he was 2 inches shorter than Liam. I have no doubt that he was once 6’4, but his age and horrendous posture has made him look as short as 6’1-6’2 sometimes.

Near a full inch loss, such as ⅞, is possible given his age + the physicality of many of his roles. 6'4 ⅛ peak is reasonable

Andrea said on 12/Jul/22
If anything, he does look more 6'3 than 6'4 with Hertzberg (well certainly not over 6'3.5), so unless he had already lost at least half an inch (or 5/8 LOL), even 6'4 looks generous, let alone over.

Canson said on 28/May/22
@Christian and Vincent: max I could see is a 6’4 1/4” lunchtime height. I doubt he was quite as tall as I am in his prime but maybe 1/8 shorter. Goldblum on the other hand I do believe was my height in his prime 6’4 1/4” at his afternoon/evening height. If the standard is truly lunchtime here (I’ve been trying to figure that out for over 6 1/2 years now), I would say that Goldblum is under listed by 1/8” and he would be 6’4 3/8”. But I feel Neeson and Goldblum at their afternoon heights are listed appropriately. Even if Neeson didn’t come all the way down to 6’4 he was at most a 6’4 1/8” guy. But I say trying to figure out because a lot of athletes here are listed at morning heights. I mean Shawn Merriman is not even that out of bed. He’s a 6’3 1/4” tops and 6’2 1/2” tops. I’d really say he’s shorter than that and he added 2”. He measured 6’2 3/8 at his pro day so that’s the most he is at his low at least
ChristianPerkins said on 27/May/22
@Vincent
I wouldn't be opposed to that, though him leaving it alone at 6'4" is just as fine as well. Maybe Neeson at his peak measured a hair over it earlier in the day? IDK.
Andrey200 said on 27/May/22
I agree with Vincent. That claim combined with him looking closer to a strong 193 than a weak one at his peak should suggest a fraction more.

Hello, Canson. I'm not really sure what my peak height was, but I suspect it was six four and half. I was measured in a doctor's office at six foot four when I was eighteen, but I think I may have grown a little more that year. I never once measured my height until I was in my late sixties, because I was worried that I might be losing height. And I am.

Hello, Chaos. I went to the Get Into Heaven website, where they tell you how to pass the exam. (And yes, there is an essay section. Thank God for spellcheck.) You get no points for having a sense of humour whatsoever, I'm afraid. Just an extensive list of virtues that I have not always displayed. I don't want to knock God in any way, but that Guy is so serious all the time.
Canson said on 29/Jan/22

ChaosControl1 said on 26/Jan/22
@Ian they should admit you there cause you’re really funny
Andrea said on 24/Jan/22
I could believe closer to 6'4 than 6'3 at peak, but a weak 6'4 wouldn't really surprise me. By his 50's (at the time of Batman, Taken, etc.) he already struggled to look over 6'3.5. And today more than likely under of course.
Ian C. said on 24/Jan/22
Why thank you, Chaos. That was very gracious of you to write. But frankly, this six foot three business is very hard for me to take. The last time I was this short I was seventeen. I wouldn't mind being the same height now as I was when I was seventeen, if I could also have the same capacities as I had when I was seventeen, like for instance the ability to rise from a chair without groaning, or the capacity to grow hair on the top of my head instead of out of my earlobes.

Anyway, I take a special interest in Neeson, because he and I are close in age, and I used to be as tall as he is. My big worry is, I'm going to read one day that he has died, and I'm going to think, uh oh. Time to work on my essay, "Why I should be admitted to heaven, " as I'm going to need it soon.
ChaosControl1 said on 20/Jan/22
Ian you’re 6’3 now? Welcome to the club
Ian C. said on 18/Jan/22
Neeson is doing very well in the physical fitness department. I have just seen him in The Marksman, made when he was 68, and you never get a sense that he's an old man. That is, he moves fluidly, which impresses me, because I'm about six months older than he is, and I've got all these little catches and hitches in my joints. If I drop something, I find myself weighing whether it's worth the trouble to pick it up, or if I should just leave whatever I've dropped on the floor, and replace it with a similar item that I don't have to bend over to pick up.

Also, for the first time since I was eighteen, I have fallen below six foot four. I have abruptly lost a half inch in height in the last six months, and no amount of stretching and craning my neck when I measure myself can restore the lost half inch. This actually offends my vanity. One of these days, I'll be shopping for elevator shoes, to conceal the shameful truth that I'm now a meagre six foot three.

I think 6'4.25 is the absolute max for Neeson, and right now, he maybe falling to just over 6'3 area, like with Hemsworth, Conan, Steven Spielberg, Lee Jung jae

6'4 1/4 for peak Neeson, 6'3 and a whisker for current height

Steven seagal 193,3-193,7 peak and 191,5 today. I Feel he could egde the others but shorter than goldblum. 193,7 is pusching it but probably 193,4-5 when the other guys would messure 3 mm over 193. @Rampage: that’s possible. Although I’d say 6’4 7/8 out of bed for someone measuring 6’4 1/8”. I only lose 3/4” from my out of bed. But Goldblum could look 6’4 1/2” in his prime at times so I’d say worst case is what Rob lists him here and 6’4 3/8 is easily his lunchtime. But if 6’4 3/8 is his afternoon then maybe 6’5 1/8 out of bed
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 24/Oct/21
Canson, if Goldblum was pushing 6ft4½ (as you've suggested like 6ft4⅜ which could be the money shot in all honesty), there's a pretty good chance he woke up a little over the 6ft5 mark while the other three guys could have woken up bang on 6ft5 from an evening low of 6ft4⅛. Guys within this range can shrink a full inch through the day...

Goldblum could have been in the 6’4.25 to 3/8 range. I think Rob has him appropriately listed as he looks like a guy who would wake to 6’5 like I do but be a strong 6’4 whereas the others look more 6’4.75 out of bed and 6’4 flat guys

@Slim: don’t be afraid of anything. Especially not someone who projects his insecurities on others here and on the celebs Rob has on this site. Read his alter ego “Pucko” below and if he is also on the page and how he is trying to make Neeson taller than he is. He accuses guys of downplaying their heights? Mainly guys taller than he is. The man clearly has issues and him having to always put others down who don’t agree with him and having to “brag” about his IQ clearly shows how insecure he is. I’m willing to bet that 80%, if not more, of what he says is completely false. He wants people to take him seriously which is impossible given his track record. But he is original I’ll say that. “my dad hacked my username and posted under it” when he went off on one of his under the influence rants. And he was in “therapy” over being too tall. A 6’2 range guy isn’t too tall. He and Chaos are “roughly” the same height and I bet Chaos at 6’2 1/2” doesn’t feel too tall. Not to mention, both are from European countries where the avg height may vary from what it is here in the states. Even here a 189cm guy isn’t considered too tall. I don’t feel that at nearly 194 cm. Chaos Control said it even better than I did below
Anonnymous said on 2/Jul/21
He could be even shorter at the moment. The recent photos of him and Conan O'Brien together suggest it(not denying the possibilities of standing positions and footwear), as Liam had a small edge back when they both measured heights in an episode of the Late Night with Conan O'Brien. Also, he was considerably shorter than Chris Hemsworth, a weak 6'3", in MIB: International

Canson, there is a chance Selleck could be heading toward that now. Danson I think still looks around 6ft2, if he's less it's barely. Both guys have held up well through their 70's compared to most.

@Rampage: maybe 6’2.75 now for Selleck. I wonder how tall Danson is today too. Wonder if he maintains 6’2” or is he under by a hair now?
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 16/Feb/21
Selleck could be starting to struggle with 6ft3 now. Not sure I’d go with 6ft2½ though...he’s still taller than Ted by around an inch
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 15/Feb/21
Rising, maybe between those two claims?

On Magnum he generally looked 6ft4 but a little under it is possible aswell. More than an inch on Danson I’d have said. But if you compare him to Neeson, Hoff or Goldblum his stature wasn’t always the first thing you noticed onscreen...no photos of him with any of those guys though to compare. It’d be interesting. Probably not that much in it, no way would he have been an inch shorter, half an inch maybe
Rising174cm said on 5/Feb/21
Selleck looked more his 6'3.5" claims than the 6'4" round up with Danson: tinyurl.com/16clilcj tinyurl.com/1kwcmsgk He sometimes wore 1.5" range boots and could look a solid 6'4", but at other times, his slouch could make him look noticeably under his 6'3.5" claim.
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 4/Feb/21
Selleck did look 6ft4 with Danson. I’d be reluctant to give him just 6ff3½ peak...by his 50’s and 60’s he may have been more that range. Hes held up pretty up well....still looks around 6ft3. Neeson though can look 6ft3 at times now aswell
Rising174cm said on 4/Feb/21
I'd buy Neeson at 6'4 1/8" before Seagal and that would make sense with his 6'4" and a "wee bit" claim. Both are probably closer to 6'3" than 6'4" these days.
Canson said on 2/Feb/21
@Rampage: actually Selleck did appear that way in his Magnum PI days. He was much thinner then too. Based on that alone and not many tall actors on the show in a recurring role, I would’ve bought near 6’4” easily. His 2 6’3.5 claims along with how he appeared with guys like Danson who I agree with Rob on his listing, made me believe otherwise. I agree on Haysbert
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 1/Feb/21
Schiavelli always looked massive in everything...he has to go in there with Neeson and Larroquette. I've heard as high 6ft6 for him and believed it at one point. 6ft4 guys tend to vary in how they appear. A guy like Selleck doesn't automatically seem that tall and can often times across as just 'normal tall' until you see him next to others it becomes more apparent...whereas with Schiavelli it was the first thing you noticed...he was always 'the tall one'.

Haysbert looked comfortably over 6ft4 flat peak
Canson said on 1/Feb/21
@Rampage: I tend to agree on Schiavelli. I thought 6’4.25” too. Padalecki however, I feel is legit. Maybe he’s 4 1/8”. I would put his 6’4 and change as some time in the morning. These are going off lows though (afternoon). Haysbert is debatable. He may have been 4 1/2. Maybe 4 3/8. With him, he looked taller in Major league etc than in his All State commercials today although he can still pull 6’4 off now a days. I’d put Seagal at 6’4”. But Larroquette I would’ve had as 6’4 1/2 walking past him. But then I saw him with Moll and he looked 6’4. However, could Moll have been over 6’8” by a hair? Maybe Larroquette was 6’4.25 in that case. Moll could look 4+ on him at times
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 30/Jan/21
Canson, Jared Padelecki and Vincent Schiavelli I think are also slightly underlisted 6ft4 guys...both a quarter of an inch over, IMO
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 30/Jan/21
Canson, I think Haysbert was 6ft4½ peak, he'd be the tallest of the gang with Goldblum a close second at 6ft4⅜...also Seagal should be on the list. He's actually been given 6ft4⅛ peak..I struggle to see Neeson, Hoff and Larroquette shorter than him peak so they are probably the other strong contenders for that listing
Canson said on 30/Jan/21
@Rampage: it is interesting! Lundgren surprisingly could’ve been the closest to a guy like Goldblum. I could see them as the same. For the others I would say maybe Hasselhoff could be solid 6’4 but it’s arguable he was a hair over. Neeson could’ve been a hair over though. Honorable mention to Dennis Haysbert. He may have been around my height (I doubt the full 6’4.5) but a 6’4.25 guy or a 6’4.25 to 3/8 range perhaps. Then Jack Swagger who could actually be under listed by a hair
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 28/Jan/21
That's an interesting list Canson...got some very stiff competition between Neeson, Hasselhoff, Larroquette, Kotto, Morse and Lundgren. All of them I think you could argue were a bit over 6ft4 peak

It's unbelievable though that Lundgren is the youngest of those guys... and has lost the most height! Nearly 2in while the others have made it through the 60's and 70's with minimal losses. Larroquette and Kotto still look 6ft4

@Rising: I agree with pretty much everything you said. Maybe Hoff at 6’4 flat or in the 4-4 1/8 range and Neeson 6’4 1/8 fit. Some of my post to Rampage was chopped off when I used the less than sign etc. For Lundgren, I meant to say 6’4.25 max minimum 6’4”. He could’ve been as listed. I think he would edge Hoff or Neeson (imho) as opposed to one of them edging him. He may have been Goldblum’s height. Conan at his peak I have 6’3.5 after seeing more. I’m not even sure he’s lost height yet. Max maybe he was in the 1/2-5/8 range and is half now or just under it. I also have Seagal at 6’4 flat peak (6’4.75 out of bed), and an inch shorter today 6’3 flat and 6’3.75 out of bed. Selleck may have been the same as Conan or maybe it was a touch over 1/2”. Something like 6’3.6-.7 is a stretch but not impossible. May explain why Conan guessed him slightly taller in his boots but then again Conan has said he’s 6’4-6’4.5 before so maybe he took the CM or half inch to mean it
Rising174cm said on 11/Jan/21
@Canson: I'd say Neeson may have really been a "wee bit" over 6'4" so 6'4 1/8". It's also worth noting that Conan appeared to perceive Neeson taller than he perceived Selleck in thick boots probably around 1.5". Selleck was the best reference point at an honest 6'3.5" peak, though there's a decent chance he got 1/8" above it and just said "about" 6'3.5" in 1987. I agree with 6'3.5" for Conan as well, which means his 6'4.5" claim was probably a shoe height. Hoff was definitely a full 6'4" - no idea if he was a fraction above - and I've always thought Lithgow at 6'4" peak was believable. Haysbert could have been 6'4.25" or 6'4.5". Not quite sure about him. Dolph and Goldblum both had a decent chance of 6'4.25". In the 80s and 90s, Dolph did look more 193.5 to 194 cm in most comparisons and even 6'4.5" range in some comparisons, but it depends on whether Dolph's 193 cm claim in 2005 was meant to be his peak or not. He did claim 195 cm in 1985, which was probably either an early measurement(e.g., a 9 AM doctor's appointment) or a measurement in flat boxing shoes. I'd add Seagal and say he peaked at 6'4" flat, but no taller, imo, especially given his pinch for cowboy boots.
Rising174cm said on 11/Jan/21
He's definitely been shrinking over the past 5 years or so. With 6'2" Adam Driver a little over 4 years ago: Click Here That's why I say his posture can now make him look around 6'2". Compare that to the photos above when he was promoting the A-Team a decade ago. He still looked like a towering full 6'4" guy to me at that time so I'd say he's lost a full inch over the last decade.

Here are some I’ve compiled

@Rampage: here are mine (imho): afternoon heights

Goldblum - 6ft4.25 (as listed) 6’5 out of bed
Neeson - 6ft4 or 6’4 1/8”, 6’4.75 or 7/8 out of bed
Hasselhoff - same as Neeson
Kotto - 6ft4¼ (maybe) not sure on his I’ll admit
Larroquette - 6ft4¼ (maybe) I used to consider 6’4.5 but no 6’4
Lundgren - 6ft4⅛ (give or take 1/8”) could be as listed but no than 6’4
Morse - 6ft4⅛ (6’4 flat imho) 6’4.75 out of bed
Lithgow - 6ft4 (maybe) could be as low as 6’3.75”
O’Brien - 6ft3.5 maybe he got to a flat 192 which is a hair over (6’4.25 maybe 6’4.3 out of bed)
Begley - 6ft3⅞ (not sure on his either)
Selleck - 6ft3.5 to 6’3 5/8 (6’4.25/.375 out of bed)
King - 6ft3⅞ (maybe) I’d say anywhere from 6’3.75-4

Haysbert: about my height

Rising174cm said on 28/Dec/20
Not under 6'4" peak, but I don't think he's over 6'3" today at 68. His posture can make him look under it.
Canson said on 13/Dec/20
@Rampage: maybe. Depends on how far over 6’4 they really were. I could see just based on listings Goldblum waking up to a solid 6’5” and Hoff and Neeson being 6’4 7/8 or 6’4 3/4 out of bed. Guys this size usually don’t lose an inch. Usually 3/4” or 2cm is what I usually see and that adds up with how players measure at the sporting combines

Canson said on 3/Nov/20
@Vincent Caleb: that’s exactly where I have him. 6’4.75 out of bed 6’4” flat afternoon height. At his peak he was similar with my father when he was at his peak. He’s about 6’3 1/2” today in his early 70s. And I don’t rule out maybe 1/8” over the mark for either guy at the peak heights. All I was saying below to him was that he used to say Neeson was 6’4.5” to make Conan 6’4”. Neeson did edge Conan but that made Conan a weak 6’4 as opposed to solid. To be fair, Conan has thick hair but seeing him with Magic Johnson or Neeson or Hasselhoff or Kobe etc he wasn’t 6’4” with any of them. Neeson on the other hand always looked a legit 6’4” and is one in the company with Padalecki and a few others here
Vincent Caleb said on 24/Oct/20
@Canson: In my opinion he always looked a legit 6’4” in his prime. An eighth over it is entirely possibly, it’s also possible he woke up at the full 6’5”, but a rock solid 193 cm is my guess for his peak. Today he can look 6’2” with bad posture, but is easily 6’3” standing straight. His performance in Schindler’s List was heartbreaking, and I think he is a great actor.

Canson said on 18/Oct/20
@James B: it’s hard to tell when he began to lose height. But I doubt in his prime that he was below 6’4” flat in the afternoon/evening. I’d say a better chance of 1/8” over it than under
Tall Sam said on 16/Oct/20
I doubt Bale has any substantial boost there but is standing better, I think mildly closed to the camera and might have a somewhat bigger heel on his shoes. Earlier in that film, Neeson looks 4+ inches taller than Bale in a couple scenes.
James Brett 172cm said on 16/Oct/20
could have 6ft3 7/8 or 6'3.75 be possible in batman begins though?
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 15/Oct/20
James, yeah I think he still looked 6ft4 then
James B 172c, said on 14/Oct/20

I am thinking maybe Bale is standing on a box or something?

@Slim: if anyone was 6’4” in their prime it was Neeson. He was taller than Conan In his prime. Conan is the 192 guy

Hey Rob why did Liam neeson look 6'5" with Conan o'Brien?
Editor Rob
Could he have had a little better camera position?

We can argue camera position until we’re all blue in the face but both men acknowledged Liam was the taller of the two. As for Conan, he was close to an inch shorter than Jeff Goldblum in his prime. Close to 1” than .25”. Peak 6’3.5” for Conan and still today about that
Canson said on 29/Jul/20
Because Conan is not a true 6’4”. He’s a weak 6’4 at best if not 6’3.5”

Hey Conan I think he needs an upgrade

Watch from 0.36 to 0.39, Neeson clearly edge Conan by about an inch! And later at 1.15 Conan said he thoughts Liam is around 6ft 5. This coming from a guy whose height is legit 6'4 mind you. This video was taken in 2004 so Conan was in his prime were and Neeson just entered his 50s.

Here's some screenshots

He needs upgrade to at least 6'4" 1/2 at peak or even 6 ft 4 3 quarters, look at Conan's eyelevel only around Neeson mid nose.

So because Conan called him 6’5 means he is? Conan isn’t a full 6’4” is what the problem is

Hasselhoff can still look 6ft4 today, I wouldn’t say he’s dipped much under that. Don’t understand why Lincoln is in the conversation as he’s a historical figure. Can’t compare him to anyone else on that list. For Conan I think there’s always been a case that hes a weak 6ft4. Neeson can look 6ft3 now but I’m not convinced that’s all he can manage when measured. Hoff has better maintained his height over the years I will say. Peak they were the same range. Corbett I wouldn’t say has lost anything noticeable, weak 6ft5 is arguable. Stern was likely a bit over 6ft5 and just rounded down, still looks 6ft5 today. Skarsgaard does look a very strong 6ft4, similar to how Goldblum looked peak.

Here are others that I compiled

Neeson 6'3" peak height 6'4"

O'Brien 6'3.5 peak height 6'4"

Corbett 6'4.5 peak height 6'5"

Lincoln 6'3.25 peak height 6'3.75

Alexander Skarsgard 6'4.25

Hasselhoff 6'3" peak height 6'4"

Howard stern 6'5.25 peak height weak 6'6"

My guesses:

Neeson: agreed.

Conan: 6’3.5 peak 6’3.5 today (if he’s lost any it’s not noticeable. Maybe he was 1/8” taller peak or 1/8” shorter today)

Corbett: not sure

Hoff: disagree. He was definitely 6’4 peak or 1/8” over but still looks a weak 6’4” today. Not as low as 6’3”

Abe Lincoln: maybe

Skarsgaard: agreed maybe 1/8” taller max

Stern: 6’5.25-.5 peak height and 6’5” to 6’5.25 today
Canson said on 21/Jun/20
@Rampage: John Larroquette honestly gave off a taller impression than Rob lists him when I saw him. However it was in the mid 90s when I was a teen and hadn’t reached 6’4”. My father was 6’4” and I thought he was slightly taller when he walked past him but maybe it was a combination of posture and maybe a footwear advantage that went undetected. I could’ve actually said 6’4.5 for Larroquette but then I see him on Night Court next to Moller and he could actually look under 6’4” on occasion. Then again the angles may have either favored Moller or even magnified him at times. Moller I think we can agree wasn’t under 6’8” in his prime

Goldblum - 6ft4⅜
Neeson - 6ft4¼
Hasselhoff - 6ft4¼

Morse - 6ft4⅛
Lithgow - 6ft4⅛

🎂🎁🎈🎊 Happy Birthday Liam! 🎊🎈🎁🎂

Here's wishing the terrific Liam Neeson a wonderful 68th Birthday. While looking just now at a list of his films, it occured to me just how many I have actually got in my collection! Liam's films are a guaranteed 'I'll definitely be seeing that again' sort. Apart from, of course, 'Schindler's List', I particularly recommend his movie 'The Grey', a story about a tragic plane crash, Liam taking over as protector and mentor to the survivors. They land in a Polar bear region, so the weather is icy and they are frought with danger.

Have a fantastic day, Liam! XXX

6ft4 and half-an-inch less today. 😁

193.5 cm peak now he’s about 192 cm
Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 21/May/20
@Canson I doubt if he is only 190cm when stand straight. 6'3 1/4 measurement would be lowest while poorer posture suggest he look more a weak 6'3 now. 6'3 1/2 is somehow over listed for sure. 2cm height lost is possible than full inch. Chris Hemsworth i might have under estimate him the more i look into him stack with a weaker 6'1 3/4 Tom Hiddleston so i could have buy 6'3 for Chris now, Neeson with poor posture can make him look taller. I still feel that Neeson could edge out solid 6'3 Dwyane Wade.

Watched the new Men In Black film where he stands next to Chris aka Thor who is billed at 6.3ft.liam looks a good inch shorter making him 6.2 or 6.3 depending on footwear?
James B 172cm said on 20/Apr/20
He didn’t really look a strong 6’4 next to Christian bale
Canson said on 18/Apr/20
@Junior: he’s another one with poor posture. He probably doesn’t walk as tall as he could potentially stand for a measurement but I’d say 190 standing tall would be as low as he’d measure. I think Rob has him overlisted and he should be listed 6’3 today. He and Seagal are similar. Peak is undisputed 6’4”. Hes one of the few legit 6’4 peak guys here
Chris Junior Hernandez 1990 said on 17/Apr/20
6'3 1/4 is a 50/50 chance, 6'3 1/2 is a lower chance. But i don't think he is 6'3 flat if pull out a measurement although legit 190cm Chris Hemsworth can look taller with impeccable posture next to Neeson.

I don't think he is as low as a half inch, maybe 3/4. He is still close to 6'4'', and he may have been over that during his peak.
Clarke Flynn said on 6/Mar/20
Liam neesons peek height was over 6'4, he was taller than Conan during their interview. Id guess 6'4.5, as his shortest. Nowadays maybe 6.2 or 6.3, depending on what he's doing, he slouches a lot naturally, so can make guys his own height, seem taller.
Canson said on 16/Feb/20
@Rampage: I tend to agree. I remember when I first measured on this site I thought it was higher by a couple mm but it may have been a variety of things

@Rampage: that’s interesting. Yea out of bed I’m a hair over 6’5, almost 196cm. Precisely 195.7 cm out of bed and 193.8 normal days with less activity then a solid 6’4.25 other days. Not sure if I’m still at my peak or if I lost a mm or two at age 38. But my extreme low is 6’4” like 193.1
Rampage(-_-_-)Clover said on 11/Feb/20
Well, Canson...I’ve got a short upper body for my height so there isn’t as big a fluctuation...I measured my extreme low once (well after midnight) as 192.92cm. I always have said “about 6ft4” when asked. Those are the only times I’ve been measured...never during the day

I reckon you hit 6ft5 straight out of bed, no?
Canson said on 9/Feb/20
@Rampage: what’s your afternoon height? Assuming you’d be about 192.9. Mine is 193.8 if I’m not very active then 193.6-.7 on days I go to the gym. Usually bang on 6’4.25 those days
Canson said on 9/Feb/20

Sorry that again i have to justify some correctness for Liam Neeson height with the 5'11 korean star that make him look 6'1-6'2 Click Here Click on the link and look at one of the picture 5'11 Lee Jung Jae with Neeson. I finally figure why Neeson look 6'1-6'2 with him when camera angle did not help Neeson wasn't much link to his posture. Lee's shoes highly suspicious to be solid 2" lift and Neeson had 1" on feet which indicate like a 6'3 Liam Neeson standing with "6'0" Lee Jung Jae here Click Here So when posture up Neeson could still be quite close to 6'3 1/2 worse 6'3 1/4. Previous my 6'3 flat estimate went wrong thought of Lee footwear it's just a thick 3.5-4cm regular shoes but like i say before Lee might be 5'11 1/4 guy since 6'0 listing happen to him once from yahoo and google listing. Still 6'3 1/2 a little chance for Liam Neeson but posture wise he did really drop down sometimes looking like weak 6'3 nowadays.
