Bear in mind when I met Rachelle, she didn't have as much heel as she does beside Taylor, it looks like she's got at least a 2-inch footwear advantage over Taylor....I was in converse slim so about same thickness as what Lautner has.

"Jacob Black" was named by an elevator shoemaker as a client and I've been informed Taylor Lautner is Jacon Black, as confirmed by Rob above, so I'm more convinced of 5'8" max for Taylor. Maybe not much, if anything under this, but his "official" height of 5'10" is probably with those shoes! @JC1994: I believe Sandler is 5'9.5", but has some of the worst posture I've seen from a relatively young, presumably healthy man. It's probably why he seems taller or shorter in different films. But he can look a couple of inches taller than Taylor in some pics.

As an professional photographer, and editor, I can say that Lautner is 5-10-5'10.5. It has to do a lot with different angles and lights, and aperture. The camera can manipulate height as well as weight. Plus, guys can still grow as a mid teenager.

Rob you are an expert at judging height I don't do doubt that but that photo doesn't show their foot ware. Also you can see th floor is sloping upwards away from the other guy. If you look closely you can see a guy in the background who's foot is actually bent upwards showing the slope on the floor sweeping across that part of the set. Knowing Taylor is most likely wearing boots as he did through that film and knowing the other guy is most likely wearing trainers, that coupled with the sets sloping floor that isn't a good photo.
